Hello Friends :) Thanks for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. I know I don't usually post on Thursdays, but unfortunately I'm about to go into the busiest weekend of the entire year at work, and considering I'm going to be working twelve hours tomorrow, I wasn't sure if I'd had time to get my regular Friday blog post up or not. So to make sure I stay on my posting three days a week timeline, I thought I would post tomorrow's review today instead. Dead Drift by Dani Pettrey Review

Happy Monday Everyone :) I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was kind of crazy as I ended up working extra hours because of being short staffed and whatnot, but it was still okay. Thankfully before all the craziness of the weekend happened, my hubby and I were able to go to the beach for the day, and I had such a pleasant time sitting and reading in the sun. I finished Dani Pettrey's Dead Drift while at the beach that day, and I couldn't wait to share what I thought about it with all of you guys. Three Weddings and a Bar Mitzvah by Melody Carlson Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Does anyone else automatically want to read wedding books come spring and summer? There's just something about these seasons that make me want to read about I Do's, which in a way is kind of weird for me since my own wedding took place in the fall. However, I always seem to want to read about weddings during the spring and the summer, and I've got some pretty amazing ones sitting in my tbr pile right now. It happened to work in my favor that the fourth and final book in the 86 Bloomberg Place series is about weddings, and so today I'd like to share with all of you what my thoughts were about it when I finished it last week. Three Weddings and a Bar Mitzvah by Melody Carlson: Source: Church Library Publisher: David C Cook Publication Date: September 1st, 2009 Genre: Inspirational Fiction/Ch

The Courtship Basket by Amy Clipston Review

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, as I know I sure did.  Yesterday I had the fun experience of going on a road trip with one of my friends to do some shopping, and we had an amazing time. We had lunch at a local diner that boasts over a hundred flavors of milkshakes, we found a store that sells Alex and Ani bracelets, and we helped rescue a pig wondering on the side of the highway on the way home.  It was a fantastic start to the weekend, and I'm hoping to get some quality reading time in this weekend, particularly on the Amy Clipston novel I'm currently reading.  It's always exciting when you discover a new favorite author, and that's definitely what's happened to me with Amy Clipston. I'd had her books on my TBR list for several years, but I only read one for the first time this year, and that was The Forgotten Recipe. I loved it, and couldn't wait to continue on with the rest of the series. And so today, I'm

Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Awaken The Travel Bug In Me

Happy Tuesday Everyone :) I'm very excited to be taking part in Top Ten Tuesday this week, especially for such a fun topic. If you're unfamiliar, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and The Bookish, and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Find out more here.   Here's the ten books that awaken the travel bug in me! 1) Once Upon A Prince by Rachel Hauck: While I knew the European country featured in Rachel Hauck's Royal Wedding series is fictional, it still inspires me to want to visit Europe someday. As well, I've always wanted to see Georgia which is the secondary setting for these books, so it's a win win in my eyes. 2) Waterfall by Lisa T Bergen: While it may be a time travel novel set in Medieval Rome, it still inspires me to want to visit modern Italy someday. 3) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: I've always had a fantasy about how amazing Paris seems, and I hope to see it fo
