2019 Reading Resolutions

Happy New Years Eve Everyone :) For today's post, I'd like to talk about what my reading resolutions are for 2019.  Reading Resolutions are something I like to try and set every year, as it gives me goals to work towards with my reading. This year's are pretty simple, but I think they are also all going to be enjoyable goals to try and meet. Read 100 Novels: My first reading resolution is to set my goodreads reading goal at 100 novels. While this is way less than I usually set it at, I'm hoping this year to spend more time reviewing the books I read, and I think a hundred novels will be a comfortable goal for accomplishing this. Read one C.S. Lewis novel other than the Chronicles of Narnia: I've been wanting to read some of C.S. Lewis' non-fiction titles for the last few years, but I've never actually gotten around to it. I've heard he has a brilliant way of representing the Christian walk with Jesus, and I'm very interested in hea

If You're Gone by Brittany Goodwin Review

Hello Everyone :) Do you know that feeling of anticipating a book so much that you're almost scared to actually read it, as you're afraid it can't possibly live up to the high expectations you've build up for it in your mind? Well that was how I was feeling when I finally went ahead and picked up If You're Gone by Brittany Goodwin. I love reading YA suspense novels that keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what's going to happen next, and this one sounded like it would be along those similar lines. I first heard of it when it was nominated for a 2017 Christy Award in the Young Adult category, and I've been wanting to read it ever since. The Festive Christmas Book Tag

Happy Monday Everyone :) Can you believe Christmas is just over a week away? I feel like I've missed out on doing a lot of Christmas themed posts this year, since due to time constraints I wasn't able to participate in Blogmas. However, I really wanted to get at least one Christmas book tag in this year, and so today I'm here to take part in the Festive Christmas Book Tag. This tag was originally created by the booktuber GirlReading, and it looks like a lot of fun. A Fictional Family You Would Like To Spend Christmas Dinner With? I'd have to go with the Bradfords for this one. I'd love to see what Corbin would get up to at his first family Christmas, and Grandma would be a hoot as always I'm sure. A Bookish Item You Would Like To Receive As A Gift? I'd love a literary sweater or scarf. Preferably something with a Jane Austen quote on it would be utterly perfect. A Fictional Character You Think Would Make A Perfect Christmas El

Hello Everyone :) As it gets closer and closer to Christmas, I've noticed that I've mainly been in the mood to read festive titles.
