Restoring their Family by Allie Pleiter Review

Happy Monday Friends :) Can you believe Christmas is officially less than two weeks away! That's honestly a little hard to believe, and I feel like I still have quite a bit to get done before that. Last week, I ended up taking a couple of days off from my blog to go away on a quick holiday with my hubby, and it was nice getting to spend some time prioritizing each other's company. Today we also both have the day off work, and I'm hoping to get caught up on my blog, do some Christmas baking, and also get some wrapping checked off my list. I'm thankful that all my Christmas shopping is officially done, but there's still quite a few other things to check off my to do list. However, I'm thankful to step away from the craziness for a few moments, and share my review of a wonderful upcoming title with you all. A few months back, I shared my review of the first title in Allie Pleiter's True North Springs Love Inspired series with you all, and you can check out th...

Dark of Night by Colleen Coble Review

Good Evening Everyone :) I'm posting this a little later than normal, but that's because I actually just got back from a quick getaway with my hubby. We had a wonderful night away celebrating his birthday a little early, and getting some Christmas shopping done. I'm thankful we were able to have this time together, and I'm also thankful I get to share another book review with you all to round out the evening. I've been a longtime fan of Colleen Coble, but I have to be honest that I wasn't too fond of the first book in her new series. I was still invested enough to want to continue on with the rest of the series however, so if you'd like to read my review of the first book, you can do so using the link below. A Doomful of Sugar by Catherine Bruns Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray that today finds you all doing well, and I'm thankful you decided to stop by The Preppy Book Princess. If I'm being honest, last week was a really rough one for me. I was going through some stuff, and people have been honestly kind of awful of late. Lately, every time I have to encounter people whether at work or out and about, everyone just seems to be in a bad mood, and taking it out on those around them. It makes me sad that this kind of smallness has to be such a big part of our world, and I think we can all do so much better than this. That being said, there were still a couple of wonderful things about my week. Over the weekend we actually got our first snowfall of the season! It was beautiful, and gave off all the perfect chilly day vibes that made the ideal atmosphere for curling up with a great book.  And curling up with a great book I did! I couldn't have picked better weather for reading the first title in a brand new cozy mystery serie...

It Came Upon a Midnight Shear by Allie Pleiter Review

Good Morning Bookish World :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. Let me ask you, are you a fan of cozy mysteries? I adore them (as long as they actually are cozy and clean), and I've come to have quite a few favorite series within this genre over the years. Last year, one of my all time favorite Love Inspired authors Allie Pleiter tried her hand at a cozy mystery series for the first time, and I was lucky enough to get to be on her street team for it. I didn't completely love the first title in the series, but the second one was a wonderful addition, and I was very much looking forward to diving into the third, especially since it's a Christmas themed mystery. If you'd like to check out my reviews of the first two books in the series, you can do so using the links below, otherwise keep on reading for my review of the upcoming third title in the series. A Covenant Vessel by Gina Renee Freitag Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I personally cannot believe today is already the last day of September! Literally, where did one of my favorite months go? This entire month was a whirlwind, and I think part of why it doesn't feel like it should be October already is because it has yet to actually truly feel like fall where I live. We've had a few teases of glorious fall, but right now we're back into an awful heat wave, and it feels like we're right back into summer, my least favorite season. However, I'm hopeful that fall will truly be just around the corner, and in the meantime, I'm enjoying hiding out from the heat wave by curling up in my house with some wonderful stories. A couple of years ago, I had a wonderful lady reach out to me on Instagram about reading her debut novel, and it's become one of my favorite series ever since. I love how this series speaks of standing for Jesus, and doesn't sugarcoat anything about the Christian walk of faith. I've ...

The Only Exception by Mandi Blake Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray that you all had a wonderful weekend, and I'm thankful you chose to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. Before I dive into the book review I'm excited to share with you all today, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on the loss of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Second. Growing up, my grandmother was always fascinated with the Queen and the royal family, and it something I ended up learning quite a bit about from her. I always respected how the Queen was bold about her faith, and how she was determined to choose her people over herself every single time throughout her ruling history. She will definitely be missed, and I'll be praying over King Charles and that he will prove to be a fair and conscious leader just like his mother before him. Now let's dive right into today's review. If you...
