The Librarian of Saint-Malo by Mario Escobar Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I hope you all had a great weekend, and that you're all looking forward to the start of another week. Happy Memorial Day to all of my US friends.  Yesterday, my province finally released some of the visitation restrictions that have been in place for the last couple of months, and it was so nice to finally get to visit my family again. I had a lot of fun with my nephews, and we spent a couple of hours getting to try out a new slip'n'slide and then getting to enjoy some pizza together for supper. I'm looking forward to getting to spend more time with them in the upcoming weeks.  I also had the chance to finish a World War Two fictional novel that I've seen greatly hyped by many reviewers lately, and today I'd like to share with you what I ended up thinking about it. Stories for a Faithful Heart compiled by Alice Gray Review

Hello Everyone :) I want to take a quick moment today and let you all know just how much I appreciate each and every one of you who takes the time to read one of my blog posts. I love being a part of the Christian book community, and I love getting to spread my love for Jesus and for books that honor Him to all of you. I know sometimes on the internet it's hard to take the jump to actively comment or engage on blogs or social media, but I just wanted to let you all know that even if you don't feel comfortable commenting or letting me know you're reading, I still appreciate every single one of you, and I feel blessed that I'm able to share my love of Christian fiction. If there's ever anything I can pray for you about, please don't hesitate to reach out to my email which you'll find in the review policy section of this blog, or go ahead and leave a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. With that being said, I'm really excited to shar

Never Miss by Melissa Koslin Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I hope all my fellow Canadians are enjoying their long weekend. It's been very cold and rainy all weekend where I live, and in fact, on Thursday and Friday we actually received a large winter storm So, most of my weekend was spent indoors cleaning my house, catching up on book reviews, and curling up with some pretty great greads. Over the weekend, I finished a newly released Christian suspense novel by a new to me author, and today I'm excited to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. On the Cliffs of Foxglove Manor by Jaime Jo Wright Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. We've been having some pretty crazy weather the last couple of days, and ended up getting another huge winter storm. I wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but I decided to find some ways to make the best of it. Last night, I did a mini Christmas dinner since the weather seemed fitting, and I've also been finding lots of time to curl up with a warm blanket, a hot cup of tea, my favorite reading socks, and some pretty great books. So with what the weather's been like around here, it seemed pretty fitting to share my review of Jaime Jo Wright's delightfully scary new story with you all. I love reading her books all the time, but especially enjoy them on dreary days when the weather seems to match the overtone of the story. I think you're all really going to enjoy this one, and I can't wait to tell you

The Mistletoe Secret by Richard Paul Evans Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. Do you have a certain genre of books that you turn to for comfort? As weird as it sounds, if I'm having a really bad day or bad week, one of my favorite things to read is Christmas stories. I love that they're usually uplifting, and point to Jesus, and I love that they remind me of one of my favorite times of the year. A couple of weeks ago, I was going through a really hard time, and I decided to borrow a Christmas audiobook from the Libby app to listen to while going for my walks at my favorite park. This was such a simple thing to do, but definitely brought back a smile to my face, and I'm actually currently still listening to Christmas themed audiobooks on my walks as I'm continuing to enjoy doing so. All of this is a really long winded way of explaining why exactly I'm choosing to share a Christmas book review in May.  I'd

Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Denise Hunter at the RT Booklovers Convention. She was such a warm and friendly person, and I loved hearing her talk about her beloved books and characters. She's definitely become one of my all time favorite authors, and yet there's still so many of her titles that I have yet to read. Awhile ago I finally got around to reading the first book in the Chapel Springs series, and I really ended up adoring it. Today I'm excited to get to share with you all my full review on this beautiful poignant story.   Happy Wednesday Friends :) I pray this day finds you all in good spirits, and that the Lord is doing amazing things in your life. Unfortunately, the last few days have been really tough for me, and I'm not feeling very positive today, but I really wanted to share my review of an upcoming collection of sweet novellas with a wedding theme. On Skein of Death by Allie Pleiter Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I hope you all had a great weekend, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm currently hoping the weather is going to stay nice for later on today. It's my nephew's fourth birthday, and restrictions have us unable to gather inside. We are able to gather together outside, as long as it's no more than ten people, so that's what we're going to be doing today to celebrate my nephew's birthday, and I'm just hoping the weather will let us be able to do so. Yesterday, my parent's and I ended up visiting all of my grandparent's graves at the local cemeteries. We decided to try and find the grave for my mom's great uncle who died in the 1960's, and we spent a couple of hours trying to do so. It may seem like an odd way to spend Mother's Day, but it was nice to get to hear the many stories about our family history, and it's become a tradition for my mo

Castle of Refuge by Melanie Dickerson Review

Happy Wednesday Friends :) How have you all been doing as of late? I know that all this COVID stuff can really drag you down, and sometimes it's hard to see the bright spot when it often seems like there's no end in sight. Keep praying, keep reading your Bible, and keep your relationship with Christ as number one in your life. Taco Truck Takedown by Kaci Lane Review

Hello Everyone :) Happy first week of May! I hope you're all having a great start to the month, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. One of my truly favorite things about being a book blogger is discovering new authors and new books through my blog and the connections I've made through it. I recently had an Indie Christian author reach out to me about reading and reviewing her books, and after I read the synopsis of each, I knew they'd be something right up my alley. I'm excited to share my review of the book with you all today.
