Destination Unknown by Amy Clipston Review

Hello Bookish Friends :) Thanks so much for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. If you remember, a couple of weeks ago I shared my review for Amy Clipston's Roadside Assistance which you can find here , and I'd talked about how while I enjoyed the writing style, the realistic way grief is portrayed, and many of the side characters, I didn't end up loving it as much as I thought I would because I couldn't really connect with Amy's character. The one character I'd really loved was that of Whitney, and I was really looking forward to reading her story. Today I'm here to share with all of you whether or not it lived up to my expectations. Destination Unknown by Amy Clipston: Source: Library Publisher: Zondervan Publication Date: February 4th, 2014 Genre: Inspirational Fiction/Young Adult Fiction Series: Roadside Assistance Synopsis: It's senior year, and Whitney Richards is tired of the constant pressures to be perfect. Made to Last by Melissa Tagg Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all having an amazing summer. Mine's been so crazy busy that I feel like I haven't taken as much time to enjoy it so far as I was planning on. I am going to be going away for a few days with my husband and some of my family pretty soon though, and I'm very much looking forward to that. In the meantime though, I'm excited to share with all of you a review for an amazing read that I finished recently, from an author I'd been wanting to read for quite some time. I'd only read a novella by Melissa Tagg before picking this one up, and now I'm happy to say she's definitely a new favorite author, and I'm already working my way through some of her other books. However, I'm getting ahead of myself, and let's go ahead and chat about the first book I finished by her. Made to Last by Melissa Tagg: Source: Library Publisher: Bethany House Publication Date: September 15th, 2013 Genre: Christ

Love Finds You In Charm Ohio by Annalisa Daughety Book To Movie Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. Today's such a beautiful day where we live and we're getting ready to take our boat out to the lake. I'm looking so forward to being on the water, and curling up in my favorite seat with a good book. Before we head out though, I wanted to make good and sure to get my blog post up for all of you guys! I always enjoy getting to see a movie based off of a book, and comparing what changes got made when the book was adapted for the screen. Recently I finished Annalisa Daughety's Love Finds You In Charm Ohio, and after watching the movie I thought it would be fun to do a comparison review of the two for you all today. Let's start with the book: Love Finds You In Charm Ohio is a heart warming, Amish fiction novel about discovering the life you're meant to live, and trusting God to provide the right path to follow. I've really fallen in love with her beautiful stories this year, and I've literally inhaled every one I've picked up. However, I'd only read her Amish stories, and when I discovered that she wrote a young adult contemporary series, I knew I wanted to give it a try. Hallmark Book To Movie Adapations For The 2018 Christmas Season.

Hello Friends :) Can you believe Christmas is officially less than six months away? Of course as you guys know, one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is new Hallmark movies, and I only wish we could finally get the Hallmark channel in Canada one day. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you'd know that I particularly love when the Hallmark Channel adapts beloved books for their fabulous Christmas movie line up, and that I always try and share with you guys whenever I find out about new ones being adapted. And in fact, last year's post which you can find here is still the top viewed post on my blog. I'm beyond ecstatic to say that Hallmark is planning an amazing lineup of 34 new holiday movies this year between their two channels, and of the first few that have been announced, there's already three being adapted from beloved holiday books!  One of the first announced was Christmas Joy, adapted from the bestselling novel by Nancy

July 2018 TBR List

Hey Guys! Happy Friday :) I know we're already a few days into July, but I still thought it would be fun to share my July TBR list with you all today. There's so many amazing titles I hope to get to this month, and I'm really hoping I'll discover some new favorites. From The Start by Melissa Tagg: I read the prequel novella in this series a long time ago and I'd always wanted to continue on with reading the rest of the series, especially since I think Melissa Tagg seems like such an amazing person. I will most definitely be getting to this title this month. One More Wish by Robin Jones Gunn: I'd literally been on the library waiting list for this one for almost an entire year. This month it's finally my turn to read it, and I can't wait to see what's next for Christy and Todd on their incredible journey. The Summer Of Cotton Candy by Debby Viguie: I'm really not too sure what this one is about, but I know it'

June 2018 Wrap Up

Hello Everyone :) I usually find myself lamenting during my monthly wrap ups about how sad I am to see the month go. However, June is always my least favorite month of the year as work is crazy busy, and I end up working so many extra hours that I often find it challenging to keep up around the house and with my blog. So I am very happy that it is finally July, and that things can go back to normal around here. I was lucky enough to get to read quite a few books in June though, and today I'd like to share my wrap up with you of all the books I finished in June 2018. I will be posting in the order in which I finished them, not in a best to worst or worst to best order. The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer: This one was a tad out of my comfort zone, but surprisingly I ended up really enjoying it. The action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat for most of the story, and I always enjoy Stephenie's writing style. I gave this one four of five stars and it was
