Only the Good Spy Young by Ally Carter Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to join me here on The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. Unfortunately, as I announced previously, this will be my last post on here for a month. I'm dealing with some medical circumstances, and as such, I need to take a little hiatus from the reading and reviewing world. I look forward to coming back though, so keep an eye out in the second week of May for more book reviews! Now let's jump right into today's post.  At the end of 2022, I decided to embark on a reread of one of my all time favorite series, The Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter. It's been such a special experience getting to revisit these wonderful stories and characters, and I've been very much enjoying my reread. Since I'd never reviewed these books on my blog the first time around, I've been enjoying doing so this time, and you can check out my reviews of the first four titles

The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm not sure I've ever explained this before, but I thought I'd start off today's post by talking about when my reviews typically get posted. If a book I'm reading is a review title, I'll review it pretty much right away afterwards, and the review will be posted pretty soon after, depending on what the author or publisher preferences are. However, since I do review the majority of the books I read, and because I read a lot of books, often my reviews of non-review titles can be a few months behind. While I'm typing this up today, I'm actually at home recovering from something I'm not totally comfortable talking about on my blog as of yet, and the book I'm about to talk about with you all really helped give me something else to focus on. Throughout my many years of being an avid reader, I'

You're Not Enough and That's Okay: Escaping the Toxic Culture of Self Love by Allie Beth Stuckey Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I'm so thankful you're here! One of my reading goals for 2023 was to read more Christian non-fiction books, and I particularly wanted to read more ones with substance and less of the fluffy titles that seem to always be marketed towards Christian women these days. This title peaked my interest, and I wanted to give it a try. I hope you'll all keep on reading down below to find out whether or not I thought it was worth the time to pick it up and read it! I'm Kirby, and I'm delighted to welcome you today to my little corner of the internet. Before I dive into today's review, I need to make a quick announcement. Due to medical reasons, The Preppy Book Princess will be on hiatus from April 13th through May 13th, unless otherwise stated. I will be sharing my usual three posts next week, and will then be having to take a few weeks off.  I look forward to sharing more fun reviews with you all after that. :) Now with that being said, let's dive right into today's review.  Today's post is an exciting one for me because I'm going to be sharing my review of another one of the titles from my 2024 Most Anticipated Releases Post. And this one is especially exciting because this book was probably the one I was the most excited about r

Love Finds You in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts by Melody Carlson Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to join me (Kirby), here on The Preppy Book Princess today. If you're a fellow lover of Christian fiction, then I'm guessing you're probably at least a little familiar with the multi author Love Finds You series that were all the rage awhile back. There's quite a few of these titles in the series, and I've enjoyed getting to read a few of them as it's fun getting to visit many of these places that I've never (yet) had the opportunity to visit in real life. I've recently learned a bit more about Martha's Vineyard, and I've been kind of fascinated by it. When I learned that one of the titles of this series is set there, and it happened to be written by Melody Carlson, who's one of my favorites, I knew I needed to give it a try. Keep reading down below to find out what I ended up thinking about it. Love Finds You in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
