Most Anticipated 2020 Releases :)

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you all had a great Christmas holiday, and that you were able to enjoy time with friends and family celebrating the true reason for the season. Our Christmas didn't end up going quite the way I'd envisioned, as it definitely got a little hectic, but nonetheless we had a great holiday, and I'm thankful for the time my hubby and I were able to spend with our family and friends. We decided last minute to give my nine year old nephew one last Christmas present. We're going to take him away on Sunday for an overnight trip to the city to see the new Star Wars movie, and go swimming at a hotel. Since we have decided to do this, and I actually ended up not taking any days off my blog for Christmas this year, I'm actually going to give myself a one day holiday from blogging on Monday, and I'll be back the following Wednesday to finish my yearly wrap ups with you all. It's hard to believe that 2019 is almost behind us, and si

Merry Christmas Everyone! I pray that this Christmas season finds you all in good health, and surrounded by the warmth that comes from friends and family. As always, I also pray that we're all remembering the true reason for the season. My hubby and I had a really good Christmas Eve last night. We celebrated with some of my family, and enjoyed taking time to truly reflect on the miracle that is Jesus' birth. Today, Neil's working for a few hours, and I'm just going to take the morning to relax and read books and maybe watch a Christmas movie. Once he's home, we're going to have a late Christmas brunch and probably do our gift exchange. Later on, we will head over to my dad and stepmom's to celebrate the holidays with them and my siblings and stepsiblings and my nephews.  Before all the celebrations start however, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a review of an upcoming Christian fiction title with you all. The Brightest of Dreams by Susan Anne Mason Review

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Christmas is only two days away, and that seems so crazy. Do you feel you're prepared for the big day? I approached it a little differently this year. I wanted to make sure and have time for Jesus, and time to spend with family and friends, and I loved every moment of it. I did the devotional this year where you read one chapter of Luke each day leading up to Christmas, and I loved getting to spend the advent season immersed in Jesus' story. I highly recommend spending December this way next year for anyone who already hasn't done so. I also loved the many festive things that I took part in with my friends and family in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Some of my favorites were my mom's Hallmark movie viewing party, Friendmas with my bestie, a Christmas shopping road trip with my hubby, and driving around looking at lights with my sister and my toddler nephew.  This has been an amazing season, and I can't wait to celebrate our Savi

The 19 Worst Books I Read In 2019!

Happy Friday Everyone :) Christmas is less than a week away, and the end of December is just around the corner. I thought this year I would do something a little different, and start my yearly wrap ups now, instead of waiting until January like I usually do. I'm going to hold off a little while longer with posting The Best Books I Read In 2019, as I still have some pretty amazing sounding books on my TBR for the rest of the month. However, I'm fairly certain that none of the ones I have left to read this month are going to make my worst books of the year list, so I figured today was a good day to share with you all my 19 Least Favorite Books I Read In 2019! I know 19 is a lot higher than some people would have for this list, but I don't think it's too terrible for me. I have read 237 books so far this year, and of those 237, only 27 were in the running to make this list. I'd say that's a pretty successful reading year, and that it shows that I did en

Now and Forever by Susane Colasanti Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) It's officially one week until Christmas, and that is so crazy! I'm so excited for the season. I can't wait to spend time with my family and friends celebrating the true reason for the season, and I can't wait to see my niece and nephews basking in all the excitement surrounding the day. Today however, I'd like to share another book review with you guys. I'm still taking part in Magical Readathon, and my last reading prompt was to read a book that had either orange on the cover or the word orange in the title. I ended up picking up a title that had been sitting around on my bookshelves for a very long time, and today I'd like to share with all of you what I thought about it. Christmas With You by Sheila O'Flanagan Review

Happy Monday Everyone :) Can you believe Christmas is only nine days away? I can't believe how fast this month seems to have gone by, and I've honestly been questioning how I ever found time to do Blogmas in the years past, as this year it definitely would not have been a possibility. I do still miss sharing some of the things I used to post during Blogmas, like Christmas book reviews, recipes and Day In The Life posts. I decided today I definitely needed to post some more Christmas themed content, so I'm here today with a Christmas book review. I may also still do a Day In The Life post of something over Christmas, so we'll have to wait and see how that goes.
