Newbury Acres by Sarah Price Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I personally adore Jane Austen, and I love Amish fiction, so I've been loving the Amish Classics series where author Sarah Price has written a retelling of each of Jane Austen's beloved novels set within the Amish community. I recently had a chance to read the final title in the series, and today I can't wait to tell you all what I ended up thinking about it. If you'd like to check out my reviews of some of the other books in the series, you can do so using the links below: First Impressions The Matchmaker Second Chances Sense and Sensibility Mount Hope Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. To Marry an English Lord by Robin Lee Hatcher Review

Good Morning Bookish Lovelies :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. If I'm being honest, I have a lot of favorite authors, especially within the Christian fiction genre. I've read some pretty amazing books from equally amazing authors over the years, and I love that I now get to document all those wonderful reads on my blog. One author that consistently makes the list of being one of my favorites is Robin Lee Hatcher. A couple of years ago, I had the immense pleasure of getting invited to be on her street team, and that felt like literally a dream come true. Last year, I got to review the first title in her new series The British are Coming, and I've been waiting to read the follow up title ever since. Today I'm excited to share that highly anticipated review with you all, and if you'd like to check out my review of the first title, you can d

The Heart's Shelter by Amy Clipston Review

Happy Monday Beautiful Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to join me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm extremely thankful that the life threatening cold warning our area was under has finally lifted, and while it's still extremely chilly outside, it's nowhere near as cold as it was. I have the day off of work today so I'm planning on cleaning my house, spending some time with Jesus, enjoying my day off with my hubby, and curling up with some great reads. What are your plans for this beautiful January morning? Whatever your plans are, I'm thankful you decided to make my little corner of the internet part of your day today. I'm Kirby, and I love sharing my love of the written word with you all. I enjoy many different genres, and one of those genres is Amish fiction, which I've been reading since I was basically a young preteen.

Lady of Disguise by Melanie Dickerson Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. Can I be honest and start off today's review by saying that 2023 was an exceptionally hard year for me? I've dealt with a lot of harsh circumstances over the past seven years or so, and the majority of it I haven't ever talked about on my blog. However, 2023 really took things to a new level, and sometimes it was hard to put on a brave face and come on here and do book reviews while I was going through so much that I couldn't talk to that many people about. If I learned anything from last year, it's the fact that life is tough, especially if you're trying to live your faith in this broken world, and one thing I'd like to try my best to do differently this year is to try and learn true contentment, and to find joy in the little things. I've already been tested on this ideal

Happy Wednesday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to join me today here on The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. How has your reading been going for 2024? I've definitely already had my ups and downs for this year's reading challenge, as I've already had both five star and one star reads. Hopefully the rest of the year will contain more five stars and less one stars but we will have to see how things go from here. Today's review is for an upcoming Christian historical title, and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts about this one with you all. I hope you'll all join me down below for today's full review. Once a Queen by Sarah Arthur Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm thankful you've chosen to stop on by my little corner of the internet. Today is January 15th, and that means it's my birthday! Birthdays have been hard for me the past few years to put it mildly, and to start with I was really dreading today. However, I was determined to try and actually celebrate my birthday this year instead of being depressed about it, and my hubby made plans to take me to the city for a couple of days for book shopping, relaxing, and yummy food. Unfortunately, we got hit with another family emergency this week and our area is currently experiencing an extreme cold warning where yesterday we actually hit temperatures with wind chill of -57 degrees Celsius. So once again my birthday has not ended up being what I hoped for, but instead we're going

As well, if I posted a review of it on my blog, I'll include the link so you can check out my full review if you would like to do so. Also, I don't typically include rereads i
