Lava by E.B. Roshan Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm always happy to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. Not going to lie, today's post was a little hard to write. Not because I'm not excited to tell you all about the book I've chosen for today's review, but because my heart is heavy and broken from all the horrible hate we've seen in the world over the past few days. My prayers are being sent out to Iryna Zarutska's family and friends, Charlie Kirk's family and friends, and the family and friends of anyone affected by the shooting in Colorado. Such a bunch of senseless tragedies, and I can only pray that Jesus will be a source of strength and refuge to all the hurting right now.  Today's review is going to be for a title that's slightly different than the norm on my ...

Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to start out your week by dropping by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you here to my little (bookish) corner of the internet. If you're new around here, I'll just quickly say that I've been book blogging since September of 2015, and I love getting to share all about books with you all. I have a lot of fave genres, but every now and then I love to take a chance on a book that's from a genre I don't normally pick up, and that's the case with today's read. I'm not someone who gravitates towards comics or graphic novels, but I do enjoy E.B. Roshan's sweet middle grade stories, so I was excited for the chance to read and review another when she reached out to me. Today I'm here to tell you all about it, so without further adieu, let's jump right into my review. Free by E.B....

Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm so happy you're here! I enjoy getting to read fiction as a way to destress from some of the stressors of everyday life, and I started my little ole blog back in September of 2015 to share about the many titles I devour with you all. However, I think today's post might be a first for The Preppy Book Princess (if I'm not mistaken), and I think this is actually the first time I've ever posted a graphic novel review on my blog. I hope you'll all keep reading down below to find out what I ended up thinking about it. Silk by E.B. Orchidelirium by E.B. Roshan Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. If I'm being honest, I've had a really rough week. I got some devastating news this week, and it's been pretty rough trying to put a smile on and pretend that everything's fine at work while I've been feeling like this. I've been extra thankful this week that Jesus allows us to lean on Him during these hard times, and I've also been thankful for the amazing books that I've had the opportunity to read to take my mind off of things. One of those books was a fun, upcoming release by a lovely lady that I've had the chance to connect with through my book blog, and I can't wait to tell you all about this title. I hope you'll all keep on reading down below for my full review. Orchidelirium by E.B. Roshan: Source: Complimentary Copy Provided by the Author in Exchange for an Honest Review Publis...

Judgement Call by E.B. Roshan Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I took a few days away from my blog this past week, as my hubby and I went away for a few days which was much needed and much appreciated. We visited Edmonton, Alberta for almost a week, and enjoyed the beautiful Fantasyland Hotel, the biggest mall in North America, and getting to attend Edmonton's Fan Expo for the very first time. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick after we got home, and didn't really feel up to doing much of anything these past couple of days. However, today I'm feeling like I might be on the mend, and I'm excited to get back to blogging. I had fun posts planned for the last couple of days as there were three really special days to me that just went by, but oh well sometimes you can't control when your body needs time to heal. However, I am going to quickly mention them here. September 2...
