The Christmas Angel by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Hello Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm always grateful for anyone taking the time to stop by my little corner of the internet, and I hope it in in someway blesses you today. If you're new here then welcome! I'm Kirby, and I love talking books, especially Christian fiction books, with you all! If you're a longtime friend, then welcome back! I'm so glad you're here. Ever since I read the first title in the Cape Light series back in 2008, it's been one of my all time favorites. These books actually hold a lot of memories for me, as yeah that first time I read them back in 2008? Well it happened to be while I was lying in a hospital bed for the first of many visits to try and figure out what was wrong with me. In such a scary, uncertain time, I loved getting to read about a small town where faith, family and friendships have stood the test of time, and I...

A Christmas Promise by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. If you've been following my blog recently, you'd probably remember me talking quite a bit about my undertaking of attempting to reread the entire Cape Light series. It's honestly been slow going, but I am making some progress. Since most of these titles I never got the chance to review the first time around, I'm trying to go ahead and review them this time. A New Leaf by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well. Before I jump into today's post, I just wanted to say that my heart is breaking for the situation in our world right now. There's so much evil and so much brokenness, and all of us need Jesus whether we immediately realize it or not. My prayers are with the people of Ukraine, and also with every person who has yet to meet Jesus as their personal Savior.  If you have something specific you'd appreciate prayers for, I'd love the chance to pray for you. Drop me a comment below, or send me an email through my email listed in the contact page.  Now let's jump right in to today's post. Whenever I have time around my review books, I've really been enjoying my reread of the Cape Light series that was originally written by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer, and since Thomas Kinkade's passing, is written solely by Katherine Spencer. If you'd like to check out my reviews of other books in the series, ...

A Gathering Place by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Good Morning Friends :) I pray you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I love rereading, but I don't always get a lot of time to do so. I quite often have a lot of review books, library books, books of my own, etc to get to, and I don't always have time for rereading.  This year I've been (slowly) working my way through a reread of one of my all time favorite series, The Cape Light series. Most of them I'd never actually reviewed the first time around, so I've been enjoying getting to do so during the rereads. Today I'm happy to get to share with you all my review of the third book in the series. A Gathering Place by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer: Source: Christmas Gift From My Hubby Publisher: Jove Publication Date: February 7th, 2005 Genre: Christian Fiction/Contemporary Series: Cape Light Synopsis: Now that the Cape Light election is over, Mayor Emily Warwick can ...

Home Song by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Hello Friends :) Thank you all for finding your way over to The Preppy Book Princess this morning. Are you someone who enjoys rereading? I adore getting to reread books, and yet my reviewing schedule has been so full lately that I haven't had a lot of time to do so. One of the series I've been really wanting to reread is the Cape Light series by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer, and a few months ago I finally had the chance to reread the first book. After that I got too busy with reviewing to continue on, but a couple of months I finally had the chance to sit down and gobble up the second book. Since the first time I read this book I wasn't book reviewing yet, I knew this time around that I wanted to try and review at least some of the earlier titles in this series. Home Song by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer: Source: Christmas Gift From My Husband Publisher: Berkley Books Publication Date: 2002 Genre: Christian Fiction/Contemporary Romance Series: Cape Light Sy...
