  Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and that you all had a lovely weekend. I ended up not feeling the greatest for the majority of mine, and I had to work Friday and Saturday, so it wasn't quite as productive as I was hoping it would be. That being said, I did get to spend some time reading, and earlier in the week my hubby and I went away for a quick getaway to celebrate my birthday that was on the 15th. I'm grateful this year for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me, and one of those amazing blessings is this book blog, and all of my lovely blog readers. If you're new around here, I'll just quickly say that I've been book blogging since September of 2015, and I love getting to share all about books with you all. I have a lot of fave genres, but every now and then I love to take a chance on a book that's from a genre I don't normally pick up, and that's the case with today's read. I'm not someone who gravitates towards comics or graphic novels, but I do enjoy E.B. Roshan's sweet middle grade stories, so I was excited for the chance to read and review another when she reached out to me.
