  Happy Thursday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I hope you all had a really great Christmas, and that you're all looking forward to 2022. In the upcoming days, I plan to share my 2021 reading wrap ups with you all, but I have to be honest and state that I really needed a few days away from my blog. I'm going to start out this review with addressing a few things that I really need to get off my chest, and why I so badly needed to step back for a few days. First, I got some really devastating news right before Christmas, and it was honestly hard to even look forward to the season with everything going on. I'm extra thankful for the time I was able to spend with my family during the holidays, as it definitely gave me something else to focus on. Sometimes it seems like it's not possible to handle all the burdens that are currently weighing on my shoulders, but then I take comfort in reminding myself that nothing is impossible for our our Heavenly Father, and there's a never a moment where He's not right with me. Outside of prayer, worship and reading His Word, one of my favorite ways to try and give myself some hope in the midst of bad times is by reading Christian fiction novels.
