Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all doing well. As I'm sure many of you are aware, Debbie Macomber is one of my all time favorite authors. She'd actually had a couple of recent book releases that I had yet to read, so I really wanted to try and get to them last month. One of these such books is the one I'm going to be reviewing for you all today. Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber: Source: Library Publisher: Ballantine Books Publication Date: August 8th, 2017 Genre: Women's Fiction Series: New Beginnings Synopsis: Shay Benson adored her younger brother, Caden, and that got her into trouble. When he owed money, Shay realized she would do anything to help him avoid the men who were threatening him, and she crossed lines she never should have crossed. The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're doing well, and that you all had a fantastic weekend! Unfortunately, mine didn't go quite the way I planned. I came down with an awful virus that's been going around work, and it hit me pretty hard. I spent most of the weekend without any energy to do even the littlest things, and basically I mainly just laid around watching Disney vlogs on YouTube, and making a huge dent in my TBR pile. Thankfully, a bunch of the books I'd ordered from the library came in before the weekend, and one such book is the one I want to review for you all today. The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner: Source: Library Publisher: Revell Publication Date: October 3rd, 2017 Genre: Christian Fiction/Chick Lit Synopsis: Becoming a Christian is the best and worst thing that has ever happened to Sarah Hollenbeck. Best because, well, that's obvious. Worst because, up to this point, she's made her very comfortable living

First Line Fridays: Castle on the Rise

Happy Friday Everyone :) Friday means it's once again time for First Line Friday, hosted by the lovely Hoarding Books. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing the first line from a book that I'd had recommended to me over and over again, Castle on the Rise by Kristy Cambron, which is of course the sequel to The Lost Castle. About The Book: A storied castle. A band of rebels. And a nation chasing the centuries-old dream of freedom . . .  What legacy will they leave behind? When Laine Forrester travels to France to attend her longtime friend's vineyard wedding, she expects to find a bride on the brink of a fairy-tale life. But after a series of unforeseen setbacks--a devastating diagnosis, a castle restoration put on hold, and the emergence of deep-seated family dynamics that threaten to derail the new couple's fledgling marriage--it seems the storybook life Laine had imagined for her friend--and once, for herself--is suddenly crumbling

Revell Reads Blog Tour: Courting Mr. Emerson by Melody Carlson

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and that spring temperatures have sprung wherever you may be. I know that here in Saskatchewan it's finally started to warm up, and I'm very much looking forward to getting to spend more time outside in the near future. As the weather warms up, I find myself in the mood for more springy or summery reads, and it was the perfect time to dive into Melody Carlson's newest release. I was blessed to have been chosen as one of the blogger's for this book's tour, and I can't wait to share with you all what I thought about it, and for you all to hopefully have the chance to read this one for yourself very soon! You Won't Know I'm Gone by Kristen Orlando Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me for another book review here on the Preppy Book Princess. February was a month where I ended up finishing quite a few books, most of them were really good, but there were a few that I ended up not enjoying as much as I was hoping to. It seems that for the most part I tend to feature primarily positive reviews on my blog, but every now and then I think it's important to review books I didn't enjoy as well, as it's not possible to love every single book I read. You Won't Know I'm Gone by Kristen Orlando: Source: Library Publisher: Swoon Reads Publication Date: January 16th, 2018 Genre: Young Adult Fiction Series: The Black Angel Chronicles Synopsis: Going rogue in an effort to rescue her kidnapped parents has cost Reagan Hillis her automatic ticket to the Training Academy. But becoming a Black Angel is the only way Reagan will be able to exact reveng

First Line Friday: Christmas at the Red Door Inn

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it's Friday, it's time for First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books.  As weird as it sounds, I'm actually going to be sharing the first line from a Christmas book for this week's first line. I've loved the first three books in Liz Johnson's Prince Edward Island Dreams series so much, and I knew I couldn't wait until December to finish off the series. Synopsis: One blizzard. Two friends. Three days to fall in love.  Lifelong islander Brooke Kane doesn’t know what to do with her college degree, her dreams, or her future, but she knows better than to venture far from home when there’s a storm brewing. But a promise to check on Rose’s Red Door Inn prompts Brooke to venture out. By the time she arrives at the inn, the snow is knee-deep and visibility almost non-existent. She settles in to spend a few days alone at the inn until a familiar figure appears at the door.  Father Chuck O’Flannigan has never

Ciao Bella by Gina Buonaguro and Janice Kirk Review

Hello Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. A couple of years ago, I had a very bad book buying problem, especially when it came to Book Outlet and my local used bookstore. I wasn't very selective when it came to buying books, and basically if it was reasonably priced and interested me even slightly, I bought it. It wasn't uncommon for me to be buying upwards of thirty or forty books some months, and this led to huge piles of unread books in my home library. One of my 2019 reading goals was to get to more of these books, and so when I first started converting one of our spare bedrooms into a home library, I went through and got rid of all the books I knew I would never be reading, especially any raunchier romance books that were included in my swag bags at book conventions. I then decided to try and get to reading more of the ones I kept in 2019. One of those su

Hello Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me today for another review here on The Preppy Book Princess. When You Wish by Kristin Harmel Review

Good Morning Everyone :) Do any of you ever discover a book that you really love by an already fairly established author, and then decide to go back and read some of their earlier releases? Well, ever since I first read The Life Intended by Kristin Harmel, I'd really been wanting to read more of her books. I ended up reading When We Meet Again  in January, and had a pretty positive experience with it as well. When I discovered that she had written a young adult novel a few years ago that features one of my favorite book tropes-the famous person falling for the regular person-I knew I needed to give it a try. It was such an adorable read, and today I'm excited to share my full review of it with all of you guys. When You Wish by Kristin Harmel: Source: Library Publisher: Delacorte Books For Young Readers Publication Date: February 12th, 2008 Genre: Young Adult Fiction/Contemporary Synopsis: Star Beck is super-duper megastar famous. She rocks–liter

March 2019 TBR List

Hello Bookish Friends :) Since we're already into March, I thought today would be a perfect day to share with you all what books I plan on reading this month. I'm hoping I'll have a great reading month, and have less two star reads than I did in February. Here's the books I'm hoping to get to this month: On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher: I don't know too much about this arc I recently requested from NetGalley, but it sounds like a beautiful contemporary novel with an island setting, and I'm hoping I'll very much enjoy it. Beastly by Alex Flinn: I've really been wanting to reread this one lately. I loved it when I read it for the first time back in 2014, and I'm hoping that I'll love it just as much this time around. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas: I have yet to read this series, but it's my best friend's all time favorite. She asked if we could do the first book as our March book club pick,
