March 2019 TBR List

Hello Bookish Friends :)

Since we're already into March, I thought today would be a perfect day to share with you all what books I plan on reading this month.

I'm hoping I'll have a great reading month, and have less two star reads than I did in February.

Here's the books I'm hoping to get to this month:

On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher:

I don't know too much about this arc I recently requested from NetGalley, but it sounds like a beautiful contemporary novel with an island setting, and I'm hoping I'll very much enjoy it.

Beastly by Alex Flinn:

I've really been wanting to reread this one lately. I loved it when I read it for the first time back in 2014, and I'm hoping that I'll love it just as much this time around.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas:

I have yet to read this series, but it's my best friend's all time favorite. She asked if we could do the first book as our March book club pick, so I will finally be reading the first book this month.

Shades of Doon and Forever Doon by Lorie Langdon and Carey Corp:

I'm hoping to finish the last two books in this series as well.

Persuasion by Jane Austen:

I'm continuing to move my way through the Jane Austen books I haven't read before, and this month's pick will be Persuasion.

Christmas at the Red Door Inn by Liz Johnson:

I'm also hoping to read the last book in Liz Johnson's Prince Edward Island Dreams series. It's definitely been one of my favorite series so far this year, and I'm really looking forward to reading this one.

Cottage by the Sea by Debbie Macomber:

Since Debbie Macomber's one of my all time favorites, I really want to get to this newish release by her this month.

Courting Mr. Emerson by Melody Carlson:

I'm on the blog team for this one, so it's definitely one of my priorities for this month.

The Lost Castle by Kristy Cambron:

I've already started this one and I'm enjoying it so much. It's just as good as everyone's bragged it up to be.

Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon:

Lastly, I'm hoping to get to this one that I've heard nothing but good things about so far.

I may end up reading a couple more books than this depending on how much reading time I have this month, but these eleven are the ones I definitely plan on getting too.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
