Rise of the Isle of the Lost by Melissa de la Cruz

Good Morning Everyone :) How has your 2019 been so far? I honestly can't complain about mine as I got to spend quite a bit of it in my favorite place, Walt Disney World.  There's something about going to Disney that just makes me so happy, and I feel so blessed to have gotten to visit my favorite place as much as I have. However, let's be honest, Disney vacations are not the cheapest ones out there, and as such, it's impossible for me to get to visit Disney every single time I want to. Thankfully many authors have written wonderful books that make me think of being at my favorite place, and I've talked about several of them on my blog many times before, like the Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson and Summer of Yesterday by Gaby Triana. One series that I haven't had too much of an opportunity to mention before on my blog is the Descendants novels by the lovely Melissa de la Cruz, and as I recently finished the third book, I thought now was

The Secrets of Paper and Ink by Lindsay Harrel Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I hope your week is off to a great start, and I want to thank you all for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. In 2018, I had the opportunity to advance read Lindsay Harrel's The Heart Between Us , and I loved it. I thought it was such a poignant story about healing, learning to truly rely on God's never ending mercy, and mending relationships that once seemed incapable of being mended. You can read that review here .  When the opportunity arose for me to get to read Lindsay's upcoming 2019 release, I was pretty excited to put it mildly. However, I wasn't sure if she could possibly top her 2018 release, but I was looking forward to finding out. Today I'm here to share with you all what I thought after I finished The Secrets of Paper and Ink. Most Anticipated 2019 Book Releases

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. Sometimes it seems to take forever for our favorite authors to release a new book, or forever for the next installment in a series we've been enjoying to finally release. However, it definitely builds anticipation having to wait for the release of these books, and gives us something to look forward to. At the end of each year, I love going through lists of the next year's book releases to see which ones I'm most excited for, and today I'm going to share with you all which books I'm most excited to see release in 2019! I literally can't wait to read Britt and Zander's story. Becky Wade is one of my all time favorite authors, and I need this book now. And can we just take a minute to appreciate the sheer gorgeousness of this cover? Even though I was lucky enough to already have gotten to read this one, I'm

The Best Books I Read In 2018

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a lovely week so far, and that 2019 is off to a great start for each and every one of you. On Monday I shared with you all what I thought were the worst books I read in 2018 , and now today I'm going to do the reverse and share what I thought were the best books I read in 2018. This was extremely hard to narrow down honestly, as of the 215 books I finished this past year, I actually enjoyed quite a few of them. However, here is the best of the best! Now a small disclaimer here: I am not including anything that was a re-read as I can guarantee that they would take up a large portion of my list. So for this list I am only including titles that I read for the first time in 2018. Also, these are going to be in no particular order, except for the very last one which will be my favorite book I read in the entire year. The Heart Between Us by Lindsay Harrel: I'm starting off my list with this beautiful

My Least Favorite Books I Read In 2018!

Hey Guys :) After a long two week hiatus, my blog is finally ready to get back on track. I went on vacation to Disney World with my husband, and for those of you who follow me on either Twitter or Instagram @Preppybookqueen, you would have already known this. As this trip was a much needed break for the both of us, I decided to give it and my husband my full attention for the time we were away, and to take a slight break from my blog. I've really missed posting on here though, and I'm happy to be back today to finally share with you all my 2018 reading wrap ups! Today's post will be the worst books I read in 2018, Wednesday I'll be sharing the best books I read in 2018, and on Friday, I'll be sharing the releases I'm most anticipating in 2019.   Let's go ahead and jump right in! Can you believe it's already that time of the year-the time to post 2018 reading wrap ups? I mean, it literally feels like I was just evaluating all my 2017 reads, an
