The Preppy Book Princess

  Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been on a quest the last few months, which I've already talked about a little bit on my blog. I'm on a quest to find a good young adult contemporary novel (other than the ones by Kasie West who is my all time fave), and it's not really going that well. I used to love this genre, but oh the recent releases have left me so disappointed, and remind me again why it is that I stopped reading so many secular titles. The content in so many of them is downright atrocious, and I miss the days when young adult books weren't just adult books disguised as being for teenagers. Hey Guys! I hope you're summer is off to a great start, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. In case you didn't already know this about me, my all time favorite genre is young adult contemporary. I read lots of different genres, and love a lot of different genres, but my absolute favorite continues to be contemporaries aimed at the young adult audience. Today I'd like to share a review with all of you guys for a book that I completely loved the story, but have to mention that I can't completely recommend it either as the amount explicit language scattered throughout is beyond horrific. I've heard it mentioned a few times now that as more and more adults are reading young adult, that publishers and authors have decided to include more "adult" content within the genre.
