A Refuge in Montana by Allie Pleiter Review

Happy Monday My Sweet Bookish Friends :) It's been awhile, how have you all been doing? Originally, I had hoped to be back doing at least semi regular book reviews by now, and since I had an author offer me an ARC copy right around when I wanted to start trying again, I figured I'd give it a go. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with some health complications post partum (which I really don't want to go into at the moment), and my energy is just not where it needs to be at this point. I'm excited to get to share this review with you all as I did enjoy the title and would love to tell you more about it, but this will be my only review for awhile, at least until we can get everything figured out with my health. With that being said, let's dive right into today's review, but first if you'd like to check out my reviews of the previous titles in the series, you can do so using the links below: Rescue on the Farm A Montana Sized Secret Otherwise, keep on read...

Two Purloined Pillows by Allie Pleiter Review

Hello Sweet Friends :) It's been awhile, but I'm happy to welcome you back to The Preppy Book Princess. If you happened to read my last post , then you'd know that I announced I was taking a temporary leave from my blog to focus on being a mom to my precious baby boy who was born in December. We are nowhere near the stage where I feel I can handle being back to book blogging regularly, so for now that hiatus will still be in place. However, back in November, I accepted an ARC that was releasing in March, so I definitely still wanted to honor that commitment, and that's what I'm hear to do for all of you guys today. This book was a well crafted cozy mystery, and I can't wait to tell you all about it. But first, if you'd like to check out my review of the first book in the series, you can do so using the link below: One Sharp Stitch Otherwise, keep on reading down below and join me for today's full review. The Pumpkin Head Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner and Robert Papp Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I love getting to use my little corner of the internet to share bookish content with you all. I read mainly Christian fiction, but I do read across a wide variety of other genres as well. Once in awhile, I decide to dive back into children's fiction, as I had so many favorite series within this genre growing up, and sometimes it's nice to get to revisit those. I also don't often get the opportunity to review many titles from this genre on my blog, so today I'm looking forward to getting to do that. The Boxcar Children was one of my absolute favorites from my younger years, and I love that they are continuing to add new titles within this series. When I stumbled across a fall themed title, I knew I needed to give it a try. Now I can't wait to share a quick revi...

Heart of the Home: Notes from a Vineyard Kitchen Revised and Expanded by Susan Branch Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to take the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. How has your week been going so far? Mine's been pretty good actually, and I'm thankful for the lovely time I've been able to spend with my husband and some of the rest of my family. I'm not quite sure I've talked too much about this on my blog before, but I often feel that hospitality is one of my God given gifts, and I adore getting to entertain family and friends in our home, although we don't get as many opportunities to do so as I'd often like to. Because I do love entertaining, I also love reading cookbooks and/or entertaining and homemaking titles. I've reviewed a couple of Susan Branch's previous titles on my blog, which you can find using the links below: Autumn from the Heart of the Home Christmas from the Heart of the Home Today, I'm looki...
