The Preppy Book Princess

  Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you took the time to join me here today on The Preppy Book Princess. Over the last few months, I've been trying to work my way through the many piles of unread books in my home library. If I feel something seems inappropriate or perhaps even blasphemous to my faith, it'll be discarded, but the rest I've been trying to finally make a dent in. Unfortunately, today's review comes from one of these titles that ended up being a pretty disappointing experience. I'll be sharing my full review down below, but I will say ahead of time that I do not recommend picking this one up if you're also a Christian reader who is trying to find clean titles that don't contain inappropriate content.   Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been on a quest the last few months, which I've already talked about a little bit on my blog. I'm on a quest to find a good young adult contemporary novel (other than the ones by Kasie West who is my all time fave), and it's not really going that well. I used to love this genre, but oh the recent releases have left me so disappointed, and remind me again why it is that I stopped reading so many secular titles. The content in so many of them is downright atrocious, and I miss the days when young adult books weren't just adult books disguised as being for teenagers. Happy Wednesday Friends :) There's a lot of unease and concern over the current state of the uncertain times our world is currently finding itself in. I pray that wherever you're reading from today, that you're staying safe and healthy, and choosing to stay home as much as humanly possible to do so. I've going to be off work for at least a couple of weeks, so I will only be leaving my house if I absolutely need necessities, and have no choice but to run out to the store for a few things. I'm planning on catching up with the pile of ARC's that was building up quickly while I've been so busy with work, and I'm hoping to have some time to try some more creative things with my blog and other social medias. Good Morning Everyone :) I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, and that your week is off to a great start so far. My weekend was actually pretty good, although it definitely didn't end up going quite as I'd planned. I was finally able to go back to work for a bit which was nice, and I ended up spending some quality time with both my hubby and my nephew.  However, the weekend also included me working a shift at work that I'd never worked before, and so I spent a lot of the weekend feeling extremely tired as I'm not used to being awake at such weird hours. Aside from working and spending time with family, I still managed to do quite a bit of reading, and I thought I'd start the week off with sharing a review of one of the books I finished this weekend with you all.
