Most Anticipated 2019 Book Releases

Hello Everyone :)

I hope you're doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess.

Sometimes it seems to take forever for our favorite authors to release a new book, or forever for the next installment in a series we've been enjoying to finally release.

However, it definitely builds anticipation having to wait for the release of these books, and gives us something to look forward to.

At the end of each year, I love going through lists of the next year's book releases to see which ones I'm most excited for, and today I'm going to share with you all which books I'm most excited to see release in 2019!

I literally can't wait to read Britt and Zander's story. Becky Wade is one of my all time favorite authors, and I need this book now. And can we just take a minute to appreciate the sheer gorgeousness of this cover?

Even though I was lucky enough to already have gotten to read this one, I'm still including it on this list. This book is amazing, and I can't wait for it to release for all of you to have the opportunity to pick it up. (and since I'm posting this a tad later than intended, this one is already out in the world!)

This is an upcoming spring release that I currently have an arc of it, and I'm so thankful I do as it's one of 2019's books that I was most excited to get to read.

I loved Lindsay Harrel's last release, The Heart Between Us, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. I'm currently reading it right now from NetGalley in advance of it's February 2019 release!

This upcoming spring release is another arc I currently have, and I'm feeling blessed to be able to read it soon. There's something about Katherine Reay's writing that's always reminiscent of some of my favorite classic authors, and I can't wait to see how she tackles a bookstore setting.

Can we talk about just how excited I am that Kasie West, one of my all time favorite authors, has not one but two books releasing in 2019! I know these are both going to have to be auto buys for me, and I can't wait!

The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen:

This one has yet to have a cover, but I know the amazingness that is usually delivered in Sarah's novels, and I always look forward to her new releases.

Dani Pettrey is one of my favorite suspense authors, and I always enjoy how each book in her series connects the characters from the previous books. Not only am I excited for her to have a new book release, but this is the start to a whole new series and that means even more Dani Pettrey books in the near future!

I've enjoyed a lot of the C.C. Hunter books I've read in the past, and I'm intrigued by the notion that this one is about adoption.

With how much I loved the intro novella to this series, I really can't wait to see where Tamera decides to take the story next. This one is also actually releasing very soon. (and its actually already released now!)

A new novel by Nadine Brandes that just also happens to be a retelling of one of my favorite stories every (Anastasia)? Yes Please!!!

And lastly, this upcoming Little Mermaid retelling by the fabulous Sara Ella.

And guys, there's so many other amazing books releasing in 2019 that it's going to be extremely hard to keep up with them all honestly. Which 2019 release are you most excited to get to read? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day!

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...

Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Characters I'd name a child/cat/dog/car/ etc After.

Happy Tuesday guys! I enjoyed Top Ten Tuesday so much last week, that I decided to go ahead and take part again this week. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish, and here's the link to the main page if you're interested in becoming a part of it: http://www.brokeandbookish.com/p/top-ten-tuesday-other-features.html Today's topic is: Ten Characters I'd Name A Child/Cat/Dog/Car/ etc After, and I think it's going to be a really fun one. First, Characters I'd Name a Pet after: 1) Katsa from Kristin Cashore's Graceling: I have to start with Katsa, since it is actually what we named our adorable black and white kitten almost a year ago. She's grown so much since this picture, but this was taken right after we decided on her name. We tried several different book characters, but Katsa is the one she loved right away, and so is what we ended up going with. 2) Rose from Richelle Mead's Vampire Academ...
