My Review:

Every time I need a break from the craziness of the current times we're living in, I seem to find myself turning to a title in the multi author Tales from Grace Chapel Inn series. While I've enjoyed each of the stories I've picked up so far, Mystery at the Inn is definitely my new favorite.

The writing is cozy and atmospheric, the residents of Acorn Hill are a hoot as always, and the inn being the setting for a murder mystery themed dinner party added an interesting element that set it apart from the many titles before it.

It was a sweet read that touches on the importance of grace, friendship and family. I love how these titles are always predictable in the sense that I know that everything will work out in the end, and sometimes those are the type of stories we all find ourselves needing every now and then.

Wonderful as always to visit with the Howard sisters at their beautiful bed and breakfast, and the fall setting was the perfect accompaniment. I'd definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a clean and cozy read, and I love that you can read this series out of order and still easily follow along.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. First Line Friday: The Joy of Falling

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you've had time to curl up with some great books. This week, Lindsay Harrel's newest book released, and I loved it when I had the chance to read and review it. I'm excited to feature it for this week's First Line Friday post which is hosted by the lovely ladies over at Hoarding Books. First Line Friday: All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm excited to once again be linking up with Hoarding Books for First Line Friday. First Line Friday is one of my favorite weekly memes, and it simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. I've had a lot of extra reading time on my hands lately because of all the social distancing, and as such, I've been able to read a lot of the titles that have been sitting on my shelves for quite some time. Today's book is one of such titles, and I'm happy that I finally found the time to get to it as I'm really enjoying it so far. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant: About the Book: Kat inspected rows of the same old cupcakes. They seemed to blink back at her, as if they knew she was capable of so much more. Kat Varland has had enough of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. At twenty-six years old...
