Shadows of Swanford Abbey by Julie Klassen Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. Have you noticed lately that it seems to be a season of change? I'm not always the best at adapting to new circumstances, and we've been dealing with a lot of those lately. However, I know that without change our faith doesn't have the chance to be exercised the way it needs to be, and I'm trying to remind myself of this fact, and trust that He knows what He's doing, and it's not up to me to question. Other than spending time in the Word and in prayer, one of my favorite ways to destress during these type of situations is by curling up with wonderful reads, especially Christian fiction titles. I recently had the chance to read a title that had been sitting on my TBR shelf for awhile, and it was one that I'd been eagerly anticipating reading. I hope you'll all keep reading down below, and join me today...

To Capture a Mountain Man by Robin Lee Hatcher Review

Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and that you all had a lovely weekend. I ended up not feeling the greatest for the majority of mine, and I had to work Friday and Saturday, so it wasn't quite as productive as I was hoping it would be. That being said, I did get to spend some time reading, and earlier in the week my hubby and I went away for a quick getaway to celebrate my birthday that was on the 15th. I'm grateful this year for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me, and one of those amazing blessings is this book blog, and all of my lovely blog readers. I'm excited you're here today, and I can't wait to share a review of another lovely Christian fiction title. Before we dive into today's review however, if you're interested in reading my reviews of the previous title in this fun series, you can do so using the links below: To Enchant a Lady's Heart To Marry an English Lord Otherwise, keep on reading and l...

Free by E. B. Roshan Review

Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to start out your week by dropping by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you here to my little (bookish) corner of the internet. If you're new around here, I'll just quickly say that I've been book blogging since September of 2015, and I love getting to share all about books with you all. I have a lot of fave genres, but every now and then I love to take a chance on a book that's from a genre I don't normally pick up, and that's the case with today's read. I'm not someone who gravitates towards comics or graphic novels, but I do enjoy E.B. Roshan's sweet middle grade stories, so I was excited for the chance to read and review another when she reached out to me. Today I'm here to tell you all about it, so without further adieu, let's jump right into my review. Free by E.B....

Sabotage at Cedar Creek by Janice Thompson Review

Happy Friday My Sweet Friends :) I don't know about the rest of you, but wow to me this week felt like a lot! Work was crazy, there was a lot of bad situations that seemed to happen around me this week, and I'm so thankful I have today off to spend at home cleaning, cooking, blogging and reading. I'm happy that today I can share my review of the first book I finished in 2025! I'm a teensy bit behind on reading this year so far, but I'm hoping I'll get back on track after the next couple of days. I can't wait to tell you guys all about this one, especially considering how much I loved the first book, so let's jump right into it. Borrow my Heart by Kasie West Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I've been an avid reader for a lot of years, and for a lot of those years young adult fiction was my absolute favorite genre. As a general rule, young adult contemporaries were my favorite novels, and I devoured many, many of these titles over the years. However, in recent years as I've gotten a lot stricter about the type of materials I'm allowing into my mind, I haven't been reading as many of these novels. I've noticed a downward trend in the content being included, and they are definitely not as clean as they used to be in the past. One author in the past that I could always count on to deliver swoon worthy, cute and clean young adult romances was Kasie West, and I've devoured a lot of her titles over the years. Unfortunately, I found that last year's release was definitely not as...

With This Ring by Amy Clipston Review

Happy New Year to all my Bookish Lovelies :) I hope your year is off to a wonderful start, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet for my first post of 2025! I'm excited to be sharing a review today with you all of an upcoming release by one of my all time favorite authors. However, before I dive right into that, I wanted to take a moment to address a couple of things. I'm sure some of you noticed that I've been absent a bit more from my blog this past year than in any year prior, and honestly, 2024 was one of the hardest years I've ever personally gone through. I was going through some pretty hard stuff, and some days it was hard to have the energy to want to pop on here and seem so upbeat when that's not at all how I was feeling in real life. On top of that, last year unfortunately I became ...
