My Life In Books Tag

Happy Wednesday Everyone :)

It's been quite awhile since I last posted a book tag, so I decided today would be a good day to post the My Life In Books Tag. I don't know who's original tag this was, but I saw it over on The Girl Who Read Too Much, and you can see her post here.

The Questions:

1) Find A Book For Each Of Your Initials:

K:

A:

B:

2) Count Your Age Along Your Bookshelf--Which Book Is It?

I haven't read this one yet, but I'm really wanting too as I love Katherine Reay's writing style.

3) Pick A Book Set In Your City/State/Country:

It's next to impossible to find many books that are set in my province, and even more so in my city, but Anne Of Green Gables is one of the most well known books set in Canada, and one of my all time favorites.

4) Pick A Book That Represents A Destination You Would Love To Travel To:

I'm kind of weird when it comes to travelling, as I don't have most people's dreams of visiting far off places. I'm kind of a scaredy cat when it comes to travelling period, and I'm generally content to stick with Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Cruises. However, I've always dreamed of seeing more of the south, especially the Carolina's, Georgia, Tennessee  and Alabama, so I picked Rachel's Hauck's Once Upon A Prince for this question. I also really wanna see New York someday as well, especially at Christmas time.

5) Pick A Book That's Your Favorite Color:

My favorite color's green, so this one seemed the perfect choice.

6) Which Book Do You Have The Fondest Memories Of?

I adored Ann M Martin's books growing up, and I still sometimes turn to them today for a reread as I've kept my whole collection. This particular one of the Baby Sitter's Little Sister series was one that I read over and over again to the point that I'm surprised there's anything left of the book today.

7) Which Book Did You Have The Most Difficulty Reading?

I just couldn't get into this one at all, and I almost dnfed on it so many times. After finishing it, I'm still honestly unsure as to what it was even about, as it definitely did not hold my attention in the slightest.

8) Which Book In Your TBR Pile Will Give You The Biggest Sense of Accomplishment When You Finish It?

The size of this book slightly intimidates me, so I haven't started it yet, but I know I'll end up loving it, as I've loved all the other Tamera Alexander books I've read so far.

And that's my life in books guys! Thank you all for reading, and I tag any of you that want to do this tag!

I'll see you all again on Friday when I plan to share my January 2018 wrap up with you all!

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: The Joy of Falling

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you've had time to curl up with some great books. This week, Lindsay Harrel's newest book released, and I loved it when I had the chance to read and review it. First Line Friday: All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm excited to once again be linking up with Hoarding Books for First Line Friday. First Line Friday is one of my favorite weekly memes, and it simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. I've had a lot of extra reading time on my hands lately because of all the social distancing, and as such, I've been able to read a lot of the titles that have been sitting on my shelves for quite some time. Today's book is one of such titles, and I'm happy that I finally found the time to get to it as I'm really enjoying it so far. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant: About the Book: Kat inspected rows of the same old cupcakes. They seemed to blink back at her, as if they knew she was capable of so much more. Kat Varland has had enough of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. At twenty-six years old...
