An Amish Holiday Courtship by Emma Miller Review

Happy Thursday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I hope you all had a really great Christmas, and that you're all looking forward to 2022. In the upcoming days, I plan to share my 2021 reading wrap ups with you all, but I have to be honest and state that I really needed a few days away from my blog. I'm going to start out this review with addressing a few things that I really need to get off my chest, and why I so badly needed to step back for a few days. First, I got some really devastating news right before Christmas, and it was honestly hard to even look forward to the season with everything going on. I'm extra thankful for the time I was able to spend with my family during the holidays, as it definitely gave me something else to focus on. Second, I ended up getting a cold right before the holidays, and I was feeling pretty yucky for a few days, and didn...

I hope you're all enjoying these last few days before Christmas. Last night, my family and I went for a drive to look at Christmas lights, and then went back to my parent's house for cookies, apple cider and hot chocolate. I finished the evening by playing Dutch Blitz with my mom and my nephew, and it was a lovely way to spend an evening during the holidays. I look forward to doing some more Christmassy things today after work, but beforehand, I'm excited to share another review with you all. Back in the spring of 2016, I had the pleasure of getting to meet Rachel Hauck at the RT Booklover's Convention. Ever since, she's become one of my favorites, and I always look forward to getting to read a new-to-me book by her. When I heard her new series was going to be another royal series, I was really excited a...

Hope Between the Pages by Pepper Basham Review

Hello Friends :) I pray you've all been doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been going through a lot lately. Sometimes it seems like it's not possible to handle all the burdens that are currently weighing on my shoulders, but then I take comfort in reminding myself that nothing is impossible for our our Heavenly Father, and there's a never a moment where He's not right with me. Outside of prayer, worship and reading His Word, one of my favorite ways to try and give myself some hope in the midst of bad times is by reading Christian fiction novels. I recently finished a book that had me both ugly crying and reevaluating how I've been looking at many recent situations, and I can't possibly stress how much this amazing story affected me. Today, I can't wait to tell you all about it! Hope Between the Pages by Pepper Basham: Source: Libby App Publisher: Barbour Publication Date: April 1st, 2021 Genre:...
