It's been awhile since I last mentioned this on my blog, but to put it mildly, I own a lot of books. I actually have a home library that we turned one of our spare bedrooms into, and as such, there's also a lot of books that I own that I haven't yet read. I'm trying to get better at reading some of my backlist titles, and sometimes it's fun to browse "my library" to try and find a new great read to dive into. I had mentioned in a previous post that some things have been going on that have caused me to have to take a few steps back from the book community, and that has not changed. That being said, I am definitely not going anywhere, it's just that with everything going on (most of which I can't really talk about), I can't possibly be present on my blog three times a week plus multiple times on Instagram. There seems to be so much craziness in our world, more so everyday, and somedays it's hard to even want to be part of our crazy society. However, those days are the days we need Jesus more than ever, and I love getting to spend time with Him rather that be through prayer, worship or studying His Word. And one other thing that I've found that helps me tremendously is to stick with reading books that honor Him, and provide some extra light in this dark and evil world.
