The Bronte Plot by Katherine Reay Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. It's been awhile since I last mentioned this on my blog, but to put it mildly, I own a lot of books. I actually have a home library that we turned one of our spare bedrooms into, and as such, there's also a lot of books that I own that I haven't yet read. I'm trying to get better at reading some of my backlist titles, and sometimes it's fun to browse "my library" to try and find a new great read to dive into. I recently ended up picking up a title that's been sitting on my shelf since 2016, and today I'm here to tell you guys all about it. I hope you'll keep reading down below for today's full review. The Kindness of Strangers by Susan Meier Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) Wherever you are reading from today, I pray that you're resting in the amazing promises of our Heavenly Father. I'm so thankful you've decided to join me (Kirby) here on The Preppy Book Princess this morning for another book review. I'm always happy to welcome you to my little corner of the internet. A couple of years ago, I began working my way through the multi author Tales From Grace Chapel Inn series, and while the library hasn't had every single title available, I have managed to work my way through quite a few of them. If you'd like to check out my reviews of previous titles in the series, you can do so using the links below: Back Home Again by Melody Carlson Going to the Chapel by Rebecca Kelly Recipes and Wooden Spoons by Judy Baer Hidden History by Melody Carlson Winter Wonders by Melody Carlson Home for the Holidays by Rebecca Kelly Slices of Life by Judy Baer Something Old, Something New by Jane Orcutt We Have This Mome...

Everything's Coming Up Rosie by Courtney Walsh Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm always excited to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. I had mentioned in a previous post that some things have been going on that have caused me to have to take a few steps back from the book community, and that has not changed. That being said, I am definitely not going anywhere, it's just that with everything going on (most of which I can't really talk about), I can't possibly be present on my blog three times a week plus multiple times on Instagram. I am absolutely devoted to this community, and to helping authors promote their wonderful stories, but I'm just going to have to do it on a slightly smaller scale. You will definitely still be seeing me once a week, but I'll have to see on a week to week basis for awhile if I have ti...

Emiko by Chieri Uegaki Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop om by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I always look forward to getting to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. It's Monday, and I hope your week is off to a wonderful start. Unfortunately, I've had to be a little more absent from my blog in the last couple of weeks as there's been a few things going on with me personally which has been taking up a lot of my free time. This week will be more of the same, and I can't promise when I will be able to get back to my regular three posts a week. That being said, I'm definitely still going to be sticking around, it may just be a little less frequently than normal for awhile until things settle down. Today's review is going to be for a bit different of a title than I normally share on my blog. I decided to give this upcoming release ...

A Lasting Impression by Tamera Alexander Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to join me (Kirby) here on The Preppy Book Princess this morning.  Can I be honest that life has been a little rough as of late? There seems to be so much craziness in our world, more so everyday, and somedays it's hard to even want to be part of our crazy society. However, those days are the days we need Jesus more than ever, and I love getting to spend time with Him rather that be through prayer, worship or studying His Word. And one other thing that I've found that helps me tremendously is to stick with reading books that honor Him, and provide some extra light in this dark and evil world. One author that I know I can always count on for these type of reads is Tamera Alexander. I recently had a chance to read one of her earlier titles that had been on my tbr shelf for quite some time, and today I'm here to tell you guys all about it. I hope you'll ...
