The Preppy Book Princess

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week so far, and I thank you all for joining me today on the Preppy Book Princess. I had previously reviewed Rescue Me   and Wild Montana Skies    by Susan May Warren on my blog, and while I liked them, I honestly didn't completely love them the way I was expecting too. However, I had definitely still enjoyed them enough that I was wanting to continue on with the series, and over the weekend I finally had the chance to sit down and read the third book in the series, A Matter of Trust. Happy Monday Everyone :) And Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians. We actually had our family thanksgiving at my mom's yesterday, as that worked out better for everyone's schedules, and it was a wonderful day. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday after Christmas of course, and I always enjoy just having some down time for visiting, eating delicious food, and watching holiday movies. And speaking of holiday movies, we're literally so close to the start of Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas. And this last week, I finally got the chance to read Susan Mallery's Marry Me At Christmas, which is of course being adapted as one of Hallmark's Christmas movies this year. I really adored this book, and it's definitely one of my favorites in the Fool's Gold series. Guys, It literally seems like yesterday that I was writing a post about being heartbroken over the horrific events that occurred at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, and yet here we are once again facing the consequences of another horrific, pointless act of extreme violence that has cost so many their lives, and so many others physical and emotional suffering that will never go away. I had a book tag post planned for today, but I didn't feel right posting it in light of the events that occurred in Las Vegas last night. Once again, innocent civilians out for an evening of enjoyment were the target of a senseless tragedy, and I feel completely broken watching the ways our world is crumbling around us, faster and faster each day.
