Good Morning Bookish Friends :)
Some days the ingenuity of the bookish community with creating book tags completely amazes me!
There's so many book tags out in the world now, and yet everyday the book community manages to keep coming up with original ones that are pretty amazing.
If you don't already know this about me, I'll go ahead and admit that I have a huge Starbucks obsession. But, I'm not a coffee drinker in the slightest. I can't stand the taste of it, and even like coffee flavored ice cream is something I can't stomach in the slightest.
So it probably seems a little funny that I enjoy Starbucks as much as I do, but that's mainly thanks to their AMAZING Iced Tea Lemonades that are pretty much my favorite drink ever, and I also love love love their hot chocolate.
So even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I still thought this tag sounded like fun that I found on Raising My Book, so I'm going to go ahead and do it anyways.
Black Coffee: Name A Series That's Hard To Get Into, But Has Hard Core Fans.
I've obviously never drank black coffee, and have never had the urge to, but for this question I'm going with:
I know so many people have loved this series, and list it as one of their favorites. Unfortunately for me, I just couldn't get into the story line, and I thought it had too many POV's. I only read the first book and have no urge to continue on.
Peppermint Mocha: Name A Book That Gets More Popular During The Winter Or A Festive Time Of The Year:
I've also never had a peppermint mocha, but I do enjoy Starbucks' peppermint hot chocolate at Christmastime. For this one I feel you could almost choose any holiday themed novel, but I'm going to go with:
Every year at Christmastime Debbie Macomber releases a new holiday story, and this was her 2018 release. It was pretty cute, but not my favorite Debbie story by far.
Hot Chocolate: What's Your Favorite Children's Book?
I adore hot chocolate, which is probably odd as I'm actually not a huge chocolate fan. I love Starbucks hot chocolate in particular, and if they didn't have their AMAZING iced team lemonades this would probably be my drink of choice every time I go.
I have so many favorite children's books, including the baby sitters club, baby sitters little sister, the sleepover friends, from the mixed up files of mrs. basil e frankweiler, and so on, but one of my absolute favorites is......
To this day I can still sit down with this book and crack up over the hilarious antics that Rudy and Mike manage to get themselves into. I can't wait to introduce this book to my nieces and nephews very soon.
Double Shot Of Espresso: Name A Book That Kept You On The Edge Of Your Seat From Start To Finish:
The thought of drinking straight espresso is not the slightest bit appetizing to me, and is not anything I plan on ever trying.
However, for this one I'm going with another one of my favorites, and a fairly recent release......
Without a doubt this is Jaime Jo Wright's best book to date, and that's saying a lot cause her previous books have been pretty amazing in their own right. I almost read this in one sitting. It was just that good, and I needed to find out how everything was going to wrap up.
Starbucks: Name A Book You See Everywhere:
I think this one's pretty self explanatory, but definitely well deserved.
Oops! I Accidentally Got Decaf: Name A Book You Were Expecting More From:
Not surprisingly, I've also never had decaf coffee before. For this one, I'm going to go with the fourth book in a series in which I'd really loved the previous three books.....
However, this installment was really underwhelming, and I couldn't stand how Bella behaves throughout most of the book.
Frappuccino: The Birth Of An Icon: Give A Book By An Indie Author A Shoutout:
A frappuccino is a drink I've actually had, but they don't tend to be my favorite. I love supporting indie authors, and have discovered some pretty amazing books by doing so. One of my all time favorites is......
It's such a sweet, heartfelt young adult romance, and I really want to get around to reading the rest of the trilogy soon.
The Perfect Blend: Name A Book Or Series That Was Both Bitter And Sweet But Ultimately Satisfying:
However many years later, it's still one of my all time favorites.
Thanks so much for joining me today for this fun book tag guys! I tag any of you that want to do this, and I hope you'll let know me know if you do!
