I'm looking forward today to sharing my review of this highly popular novel, and letting you know whether or not I thought it lived up to the hype.
Keep reading below for my full review.

My Review:
I went into this story expecting a fun, fantastical and whimsical ride, and while it's definitely all of those things, there was an added depth that I really wasn't expecting, and it left me pleasantly surprised.
While The Christmas Pig is definitely a fantasy story about a brave young boy who ventures to the Land of the Lost to try and recover his beloved stuffed pig, along the way, he's able to see his new stuffed pig in a new light, and realize that everything is not what it seems. However, this story is so much more than that, and also tells the story of a young boy who's experiencing significant changes in his family, and not sure what his new place is. It's the beautiful story of a young boy who turns to his stuffed pig for comfort, when it seems like his family has sort of forgot about him as they adapt to the new changes that comes when two families are blended.
I really enjoyed this one from start to finish, and I'm always in awe of J.K. Rowling's vast imagination, and just how well developed her magical worlds always are. I did find a couple of the content pieces annoyed me, but nothing major, and overall I definitely was pleasantly surprised by this one.
I'm glad I decided to pick this one up, and I can definitely see myself rereading it for Christmases to come.
Final Rating: 4/5.
Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day. :)
