Hello Everyone :)
I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to join me (Kirby), here on The Preppy Book Princess.
I'm especially excited about today's review, and I can't wait to share it with you all.
I've been a pretty much lifelong fan of Anne of Green Gables, but surprisingly, other than the beloved Anne novels, I've read very few of L.M. Montgomery's other works.
I recently decided that this most definitely needed to change, and I picked up a few of her books from the library.
Today I'm excited to share my review from the first of those books with you all.
Keep reading down below for my full review.

My Review:
As someone who has been pretty much a lifelong fan of the Anne of Green Gables novels, it's probably pretty surprising that I've read very few of L.M. Montgomery's other works. I have such fond memories of watching Road to Avonlea with my grandmother on Sunday evenings, so the books that the show was based off of seemed like a great place to continue with her stories. I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting from this one, but it was a delight from start to finish, and I loved losing myself in the stories about a rambunctious group of kids spending summer together on Prince Edward Island.
This book was everything I could have wanted in a middle grade read, and the kids get up to so many adventures and such hijinks as they try to navigate the many situations in life that they might not understand.
L.M. Montgomery was truly a mastermind at crafting stories that celebrate the best of childhood and all the whimsicalness that should accompany it.
I'm only sorry it took me so long to get around to reading this one, and I will be continuing on with the sequel in the very near future.
Final Rating: 5/5.
Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)
