All the Tea in China by Jane Orcutt Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to join me (Kirby) here on The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. Life has gotten tough lately hasn't it? I honestly have the thought nearly every single day that I don't know how people get through things anymore without faith. I'm so thankful that our Heavenly Father is always right beside us no matter what we face, and I pray you find that same peace in whatever situation you are currently finding yourself in. Alongside Bible study, spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, spending time with my hubby and watching Youtube vlogs, one of my favorite things to do to get a break from all of life's craziness is reading fiction titles. I particularly love reading fiction that honors our Lord and Savior, and I'm excited to tell you guys all about a title I recently finished. I hope you'll all keep reading down below for today's fu...

The Bequest by B.E. Baker Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. Unfortunately, today's post is a bit of a hard one for me to share with you all. There's many things I love about being a book blogger, and hey maybe it's a good idea for a future post to share what some of those things are. However, book blogging also comes with its negatives, and one of those is having to give a book a bad review. I want to be honest when I write my reviews, and sometimes I stumble across a book that I just can't say many positive things about. And unfortunately that's going to be the case for today's choice from a new to me author. Keep reading down below to find out why this one didn't end up working for me personally. The Bequest by B.E. Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little corner of the internet. At the start of last year, I made a bit of a bucket list for 2024.  enjoyed checking off some of the items on the list as the months went on, and one of the items I had included was to read two new to me classic novels. I adore classic novels, but I can kind of get into the habit of just rereading my favorites over and over again instead of giving new ones a try. A few months prior, I read The Wizard of Oz for the first time (review here ), and I adored it. I decided to go with a children's classic for my second pick as well, and I finally got around to reading Pollyanna. I've been wanting to read this book for the longest time, and it was everything I could have possibly hoped for. I hope you'll all ...
