A Week In My Life: Vacation With My Family July 2016

Hey guys! It's finally Friday, and I hope you all have had an amazing week. I was blessed to have had the last couple days off from work, and since the weather was cool (which was definitely a nice change from the horrible humidity we've been having lately), I decided to spend both days doing freezer cooking, and I'm happy to say my freezer is now happily stocked for when we get back from Disney next month! Speaking of vacation, I promised everyone that I would be posting a vacation post from the week I went away with my family, and since I've finally gotten the photo issues resolved, I'm here to do that post today. I was lucky enough to get to spend three nights at the Cypress Hills Resort, and then three nights in Calgary to take in a few attractions. We actually started planning for this trip almost a year ago, as for my nephew's fifth birthday, my mom and I spent months planning a superhero themed birthday bash that included bounce houses, games, a...

Top 5 Wednesday: Authors You Are Waiting On Another Book From

Hey guys! I'm finally here today to do another Top 5 Wednesday Post. I've actually missed the last couple of these because of being away and whatnot, but I'm super excited to be taking part in this week's topic. If you're unfamiliar with Top 5 Wednesday, it's a weekly meme that was created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey on Youtube, and is now moderated by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes, also from Youtube. The group communicates through goodreads, and here's the link if you're interested in learning more about it: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/118368-top-5-wednesday Today's topic is: Authors You Are Waiting On Another Book From. There's many of my favorite authors who haven't seemed to have had a book release lately, and so I'm very excited to share my favorites of those with you today. 1) Stephanie Perkins: I feel like I've been waiting forever for a new release from Stephanie Perkins. As you all know, Anna and The Fr...

The Disney Book Tag :)

Happy Monday All My Fellow Readers! It's the start of another work week, and that would be kind of depressing, but it's gorgeous outside today, and I've got a really fun book tag to post today. I know I said that today's post would be my vacation wrap up, but I'm having some trouble with a few of the photos not wanting to export, and I don't think the post would be the same without them. So instead I decided to first share some exciting news with all you guys, and then participate in a book tag that coordinates with my news. I'm not sure if I've truly mentioned on my blog before or not, but I am a self professed Disney fanatic. Disney movies are my favorites, I'm constantly listening to Disney music, I love Disney books, like The Kingdom Keepers series, and Disney is my absolute favorite vacation destination. Hence the princess part of my blog name. :) For as long as I can remember, my parent's had been talking about taking us to Disney...

July 2016 Wrap Up

Hello All My Fellow Readers! I'm a little late with my wrap up for last month, as I've had a pretty busy week catching up on everything around the house and at work since I've been back from vacation, but I'm ready today to go ahead and talk about all the books I read in July of 2016. July was honestly not the greatest reading month for me, as I did have quite a few two star books, and didn't actually have any that I rated five stars, but I did still really like a lot of the books I read this month, and I'm excited to share them all with you today. Here's my reading wrap up for July 2016 :) One Star Books: Thankfully July 2016 is another month in which I didn't read any books that I rated one star. I love when months are like that! Two Star Books: Two star books to me, are books that just weren't for me, and had many elements that I just didn't like while reading them. They are also books that I personally wouldn't recommend....

United Launch Day :)

Hey guys! It's been a long time no chat from me, thanks to taking a week off for vacation, but I will be getting things back on track and will be posting my July 2016 reading wrap up, and also a post sharing the highlights from my vacation. Today, however, I'm here for a very exciting post, and that is, I am taking part in the United by Melissa Landers launch day! I can't even tell you guys how much I loved Alienated, and I was so depressed when I thought it was going to be a duology, as I needed more Cara and Aelyx. I was super pumped when Melissa Landers announced a third book, and today is the day that that book, United, is finally being released. I hope you're all as excited about this release as I am, and please enjoy learning more about this amazing trilogy by one of my favorite authors. :) Hey there, booklovers! I’m author Melissa Landers, and I’m thrilled to announce the release of UNITED, the final book in the Alienated trilogy. ...
