Happy Friday Guys!!! I can honestly tell you all that I'm so excited for it to finally be the weekend!! We've had a lot of unexpected drama develop at work the last week, and it has a bunch of my fellow co-workers and myself super frustrated. I'm looking so forward to having some time just to hang around at home and read this weekend, and so I thought it would be a perfect fit for today's post to participate in #FridayReads. Hey Guys! I hope you all enjoyed your last few days of summer, and that you're as excited as I am to welcome in the month of September. I seem to fall more and more in love with autumn every single year, and I already can't wait for the leaves to start turning colors, going for walks in my hunter rain boots, pumpkin to be the flavor of choice at every restaurant, and curling up with an amazing book in my favorite reading spot. Happy First Of September Everyone!!!!! I'm not gonna lie guys, it's been an embarrassingly long time since I last did a wrap up post, and honestly, off the top of my head I literally can't even remember when the last one was. Hello Everyone! Thanks so much for joining me today on the Preppy Book Princess :) 2017 has been a year where I haven't truly shared too many book hauls on my blog, and that's honestly because I haven't bought that many books. In the last few days however, I finally used one of the Itunes gift cards I was given for Christmas, and I purchased some new ebooks that have been on my wishlist for quite some time. I've never done an ebook haul before, and so I'm excited to get to do one on my blog today. A Home For Christmas by Kimberly Rae Jordan: My first purchase was the seventh and final novel in Kimberly Rae Jordan's Home To Collingsworth series, and this one was actually the main reason I decided to buy books in the first place. Happy Wednesday Guys! I hope you're all having a great week so far, and I thank you once again for joining me today on the preppy book princess for another book review. It's actually been quite awhile since I last reviewed a YA book on my blog, which is a tad odd for me as it's one of my favorite genres, and I definitely decided today was the day to remedy that. I know a lot of people are familiar with Rebecca Serle's novel, Famous In Love, as not only was it a widely popular publication, it was also recently adapted into a TV show by ABC Spark. However, her earlier books don't seem to have quite the same buzz about them, and I personally preferred the one I'm reviewing today, The Edge Of Falling, to Famous In Love, although I didn't personally love love either of them. His Eyes by Renee Carter My rating: 3 of 5 stars I was honestly highly anticipating this adorable sounding contemporary by Renee Carter. A YA novel with a blind male protagonist is not something I'd personally read before, and as such, this book intrigued me, and had been on my TBR list for quite some time. I definitely ended up enjoying it overall, as I found myself liking both main characters, and their quirky personalities. In particular, I love how Amy is able to see past Tristan's disability right from the start, and is truly the first person to encourage him back on the path to living his life. However, I felt it was a tad too short, and I was disappointed that the reader doesn't truly get much of a feel for the relationship developing between Amy and Tristan. As well, I felt the character of Lexus was massively overdone, and didn't really seem believable. It was overall definitely still an enjoyable, quick, read, and I adored the ending. I only ...
