Kathryn Falk shockingly announced at this year's RT Booklovers convention in Reno, Nevada that this year would be the last for the convention, and that the magazine would also be coming to a close. For so many years RT Book Reviews was a pioneer in the book industry, and I know they helped many authors get the recognition their books deserved. Happy Wednesday Everyone :) We're a few days into June, and I thought today I'd like to take a few moments to share with you all what books I plan to read throughout the month. I'm very much looking forward to all the titles I have on my list this month, and hopefully none of them will end up disappointing me.  Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen: I started this one last month, but as I'm really wanting to take my time with it, and truly be immersed in each and every word, I didn't end up finishing it, and hope to do so this month instead. Hello Bookish Friends :) After taking the much needed break I required after my boss' passing, I'm back today to get my blog back on its regular uploading schedule.  It's officially June, and it's almost summertime. I've mentioned before that June is one of my least favorite months of the year, just because its the busiest month of the entire year at work, and I often barely have time to get anything else done. Hello Everyone :) I apologize for how long it's been since my last post. Unfortunately last week was a not a good week, and I kind of withdrew into myself and was only capable of basic functioning. Last Thursday my boss of fifteen years suddenly passed away, and to put it mildly, I didn't handle it very well. It was hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone so full of life could be here one day and then gone the next. My boss was one of those people that always had time for everyone; he was never too busy to help out anyone in need, no matter how big or small a problem he was always there. He was such a big part of both mine and my husband's life, and was literally my boss for half of my life as I started with the company when I was fifteen and I turned thirty this year.
