Book Outlet Boxing Day Book Haul

Hello all my fellow book lovers. I know it probably seems ridiculous that considering how many books I received for Christmas, that I bought more on Boxing Day. But I just couldn't resist Book Outlet's amazing sale, and so I ended up ordering quite a few. I will have one more book haul following this one as I picked up a couple from other stores, and it is my birthday in a couple of days and my hubby's taking me on an overnight trip to do some shopping. After that however, I will be on a book buying ban for at least a few weeks as there's a special event coming up in a couple of months where I will be planning to buy lots of books, but I will talk more about that in future posts. Here is my amazing haul:

Firstly I ordered a few adult fiction books.
Before and ever since by Sharla Lovelace who is one of my all time favourite authors,
Secretly Smitten by Colleen Coble, Denise Hunter, Diann Hunt, and Kristin Billerbeck.                        I got Palmetto Moon by Kim Boykin.
Letters To Juliet by Lise Friedman and Ceil Friedman.
How I Came To Sparkle Again by Kaya McLaren and
Ciao Bella by Gina Buonaguro and Janice Kirk
Next I decided that since I was splurging and treating myself to so many amazing books, that I'd also pick up a few for my hubby as well. For him I Picked:
Starling by Lesley Livingston
AntiGoddess by Kendare Blake and
The 100 by Kass Morgan.
He was beyond thrilled when I gave these to him this morning :)
And of course, I had to pick up lots of YA titles, since they are always my absolute favorite. I got:
Luxe by Anna Godbersen, and I'm so excited to finally get to start this series.
Tattoo by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I think Jennifer Lynn Barnes always seems to be such an amazing person in interviews and such that I've read, and I've always wanted to try reading her books, and so I jumped at the opportunity to finally do so.
Pies and Prejudice by Heather Vogel Frederick.
Absolutely Truly by Heather Vogel Frederick
Pretty Crooked and Pretty Sly by Elisa Ludwig
Last Year's Mistake by Gina Ciocca

The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead which now completes my collection of all the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines novels.
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith
The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E Smith
This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E Smith
Second Star by Alyssa B. Sheinmel
Nil by Lynne Matson
Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Eternal by Kristi Cook
Haven by Kristi Cook
What Goes Around by Courtney Summers
Life After Theft by Aprilynne Pike
Wings by Aprilynne Pike
Revelations by J. A, Souders

I can't wait to dive into this amazing pile of books, including getting to reread many of the ones that I've already read before. My hubby and I were both so excited to dig into this order when it arrived today, and funny story, so was our kitten Katsa as she absolutely loved getting to play with the packing paper that was in the box :)

I Hope everyone has a great week. I will be taking a few days break from my blog to enjoy my birthday away with my hubby, and then celebrating with my family. I will however be back soon with my birthday book haul, as well as with new reviews for a couple of books I'm currently working on finishing. I have also recently joined the top 5 Wednesday group on goodreads, and I'm looking forward to incorporating that into my blog in the near future. And lastly, I will hopefully have a small recap post of my birthday. Thanks for reading everyone and I'll see you in my next post.

This is not a sponsored post. Nothing was provided in exchange for me posting this. I am not affiliated with Book Outlet. I'm just a huge fan of their website. The photos we're all taken by me with my iPhone.

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
