Good Morning Everyone :)
I hope you're all doing well!
In case you didn't already know this about me, I adore Jane Austen.
There's just something about her books that still resonate this many years later, and there's very few things I love more than curling up with a cup of tea, and reading a beloved Austen novel.
However, it actually took me quite awhile to get around to reading any of these well loved stories. I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time right after my college graduation, and I loved it just as much as I always thought I would. However, it wasn't until last year that I actually picked up any more Austen novels, and I ended up reading Northanger Abbey and Sense and Sensibility. This year I'm determined to finish her remaining three novels (not taking into consideration her numerous extra works), and so far I've already finished Emma, and Persuasion.
My favorites so far are definitely Pride and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey, but I've honestly enjoyed them all.
Now this long winded intro is to introduce a book tag that I'm very excited to be taking part in, The Jane Austen Book Tag that was created by Thoughts From Nowhere over on Youtube.
Sense And Sensibility: A book with a dynamic sibling relationship:
One of my favorites, and unique in that the siblings included are actually triplets.
Pride and Prejudice: A book that at first did not seem interesting, but after reading it you found it very much enjoyable:
I had asked my husband for Snopshot by Angie Stanton for Christmas, and him not paying any attention to the author, ended up buying this one by Lis Wiehl instead. I didn't think it was going to be a book that would interest me, but I ended up loving it, and honestly, I ended up liking it way more than I did the Angie Stanton one.
Emma: A book in which two close friends fall in love:
No one's probably surprised to see a Kasie West book featured on my blog, but this is the perfect choice for this category.
Mansfield Park: A book with a "rags to riches" story plot:
Still one of my favorites with this type of trope.
Persuasion: A book involving second chances:
I adore second chances romances, and this one by Becky Wade is one of my all time favorites.
Northanger Abbey: A book with an almost overly imaginative character:
Somedays I'd really love to have Jo March's imagination :)
Thanks so much for reading guys! I tag any of you that want to do this!
