September TBR 2019!

Hello Friends :)

How's your day going today? I can't complain about mine as it's been extremely productive, and those are my favorite kind of days.

I'm also in a great mood because we're on our way to fall, and September through December are my favorite months of the entire year. As much as I love reading during the summer, reading during the fall is my absolute favorite. As such, I have quite a few amazing books on my TBR list for this month, and today I thought I'd share them all with you.

A Christmas Secret by Katherine Spencer:

I know a Christmas title might seem a weird choice to some for the month of September, but I pretty much read Christmas books almost all year round. I usually read the newest title in the Cape Light series every year before Christmas, and since I never got around to reading this one last year, I'm doing it now so I'll be all ready when book 20 releases later this fall.

Mandie and the Long Goodbye by Lois Gladys Leppard:

Mandie and the Buried Stranger by Lois Gladys Leppard:

Mandie and the Seaside Rendezvous by Lois Gladys Leppard:

I'm going to be continuing my reread of the Mandie series during September with these three titles. I may even (hopefully) get to more than these three, but I for sure am going to at least read these.

The Painted Castle by Kristy Cambron:

I currently have an arc of this one from Thomas Nelson, and as I wholeheartedly loved the first two titles in this trilogy, I definitely can't wait to dive into this one.

Living Hope by Mandi Blake:

I also have an arc of this upcoming release, and I can't wait to read it! I loved the first two books in this series so much, and I have a feeling this one is going to be equally as amazing.

Better Than the Best Plan by Lauren Morrill:

I've adored each of Lauren's previous novels, and I usually end up buying them fairly soon after they release. However, I haven't heard the greatest things about this one so far, so I decided to grab it from the library instead, and hopefully I'll end up enjoying it.

The Story Peddler by Lindsay A. Franklin:

I've heard nothing but great things about this one, and I knew it was a story that I really didn't want to wait any longer to read. I'm hoping I'll love it as much as everyone else already seems to.

Escape From the Isle of the Lost by Melissa de la Cruz:

I know I really should have read this one before I watched Descendants 3, but alas I did not. However, I still really want to read this one, and I'm going to hopefully do so this month.

Winter by Marissa Meyer:

This is the month that I'm finally going to finish this amazing series. I've put off reading this one for so long as I just wasn't ready to see one of my favorite series come to an end. However, I really want to see for myself how everything wraps up, and I'm really excited to finally read this.

and lastly,

When We Collided by Emery Lord:

I'm trying to read more of the titles I own that have been sitting on my shelf for awhile, and I did really enjoy the other Emery Lord books that I've already read. I'm hoping I'll end up enjoying this one as much as I did her first two novels.

And that's my TBR for this month guys. I probably will end up reading a couple other books than what I've included, but these are the ones I definitely want to try my best to get to.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day. :)

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm excited to once again be linking up with Hoarding Books for First Line Friday. First Line Friday is one of my favorite weekly memes, and it simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. I've had a lot of extra reading time on my hands lately because of all the social distancing, and as such, I've been able to read a lot of the titles that have been sitting on my shelves for quite some time. Today's book is one of such titles, and I'm happy that I finally found the time to get to it as I'm really enjoying it so far. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant: About the Book: Kat inspected rows of the same old cupcakes. They seemed to blink back at her, as if they knew she was capable of so much more. Kat Varland has had enough of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. At twenty-six years old...
