TBR Book Tag

Good Morning Everyone :)

I hope you're all having a great week, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess.

I couldn't be happier that's it finally fall. While I appreciate the beauty that He created in each and every season, fall is by far my favorite. I can't wait for all of the things to come to fruition that I love about this season, and I hope you're all looking forward to many fun things this season as well.

Today I was kind of in the mood to do another book tag, and after browsing many book blogs for awhile, I came across the TBR Book Tag. This one looked really fun, and was created by A Perfection Called Books.

How do you keep track of your TBR book pile?

I'm actually going to use a different answer than most of the other bloggers I saw answer this question. I actually don't very often use goodreads for my TBR list. I prefer using goodreads to keep track of the finished books I've read, and so instead, I keep a physical list in one of my reading journals of the books I'm currently wanting to read. I also type out monthly tbr's at the start of each month and post them on my blog.

Is your TBR mostly print books or ebooks?

Mine is usually a good mixture of both. I prefer print books over ebooks, but I usually have quite a few arcs in ebook form on my kindle, and I love using my kindle to read many self published and indie author's works.

How do you determine which book from your TBR pile to read next?

For me personally, this depends on a few different factors. I'm definitely a mood reader, and tend to draw towards books from a genre I'm currently feeling like reading. I also check if I have any arc's with upcoming release dates that I need to read, and if I have any library books that I need to finish before they're due back. I also keep a lot of my physical TBR books on my TBR cart, and so I'll most often choose my next physical book from there.

A book that's been on you're TBR the longest?

I read the first book in The Inheritance Cycle many many years ago, and I always meant to go ahead and read the rest of the series, but unfortunately that has yet to happen.

A book you recently added to your TBR.

I saw a booktuber feature this one in a book shopping vlog, and I was instantly intrigued. I looked it up on goodreads, and it sounded like a sweet contemporary, so I went ahead and added it to my TBR list.

A book in your tbr strictly because of its beautiful cover?

This is the Love Finds You title that's been on my TBR the longest, and I honestly have no idea what it's even about. I just love the cover so much, and I know I'll get to it eventually.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

I don't know that I actually have any books on my TBR list that I don't eventually plan on reading. I do have a few books I own however, that I might never end up reading, but I do hopefully plan on reading everything that's currently on my TBR.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you're excited for?

Ooooo I could go with so many different answers for these two, but I'm going to stick with two of the ones I'm the utmost excited for.

A book on your TBR that everyone's read but you?

I'm going to go with The Throne of Glass series for this one. I've only read the novella collection so far, and I feel like it's a series that everyone else already seems to have read and loved. I will get to it eventually.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

I don't think I can even count how many times I've had this book recommended to me. I really hope to read this one in the near future.

A book on your TBR that you're dying to read?

I can't wait to finally be able to read this trilogy, especially since I have an arc of Sara Ella's upcoming stand alone release, and it might be fun to try and read these ones first.

How many books are on your TBR shelf?

Haha ugh I don't honestly think I can even answer this questions. I'd guess probably a few hundred, but even that might be under estimating it. I know I have a lot of books on my TBR, and I don't think counting them all would even be possible.

Thanks so much for reading along guys! If you read this post, consider yourself tagged and let me know in the comments if you do or have done this tag as I'd love to read your answers!

Have a great rest of your day :)

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
