I'm an avid bookworm, who loves talking about books with fellow booklovers, and I love telling you all about the books I read here three times weekly on my blog.

One of my favorite genres is Amish fiction, and within this genre, one of my favorite authors is the lovely Sarah Price.

I love how her books are quite a bit different than the usual within this genre, and I always find her stories uplifting, original, and well rounded.

I'm excited to share my review of another one of her titles within the Amish Classics series, if you'd like to check out my review of the first title in the series, you can do so using the link below:

My Review:

I adore Jane Austen, Sarah Price, and Amish fiction, and I'd loved the first title in this Amish Classics series. I was really looking forward to diving right into this one, and I ended up really enjoying how the author managed to stay true to the beloved classic tale of Emma, while still putting her own spin on it within the Amish fiction genre.

I thought the characters were all relatable, and well done, and all were portrayed enough like the original characters to keep me satisfied, but still managed to have some originality in the way they were written as well. I thought Emma was hilarious, and I enjoyed how even though she's a meddler, in keeping with Jane Austen's beloved character, she also strived to be true to her faith, and be a godly woman that her family and friends could be proud of.

I always enjoy Sarah Price's writing style, and I usually end up surprised by just how fast I always seem to breeze through her titles. Even though I knew what was coming, since I've read Emma quite a few times, I still stayed immersed in the story, and found myself hanging on to each and every word.

If you're a fan of either Amish fiction or Jane Austen, or both like I am, then this book is a definite must for you. Sarah Price has become one of my all time favorites, and I've yet to be disappointed by one of her books.

The Matchmaker is a lovely, heartwarming romance that will delight Jane Austen fans, and I'm so thankful that the author chose to write these wonderful Amish fiction retellings.

Final Rating: 4/5.

I'm looking forward to continuing on with the next title in the series.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often.
