The Road to Christmas by Sheila Roberts Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to take some time out of your day to stop by The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I'm happy you're here. I've been an avid reader my entire life, and I started my book blog back in September of 2015. I've grown a lot fussier in the last couple of years about the type of content I allow myself to read, watch and listen to, and that's meant I read a lot less secular fiction than I used to. Honestly, Christian fiction is the best genre anyways, so it hasn't been a hardship whatsoever to give up more of the non Christian titles. However, there are a few secular authors whose books I've still enjoyed in the past that I have continued to read, and today I'd like to share a newer release by one of those authors with you all. I'm going to preface this one by saying that after two disappointing experiences in a row with this author, I'm not sure I'll ...

The Christmas Angel by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Hello Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm always grateful for anyone taking the time to stop by my little corner of the internet, and I hope it in in someway blesses you today. If you're new here then welcome! I'm Kirby, and I love talking books, especially Christian fiction books, with you all! If you're a longtime friend, then welcome back! I'm so glad you're here. Ever since I read the first title in the Cape Light series back in 2008, it's been one of my all time favorites. These books actually hold a lot of memories for me, as yeah that first time I read them back in 2008? Well it happened to be while I was lying in a hospital bed for the first of many visits to try and figure out what was wrong with me. In such a scary, uncertain time, I loved getting to read about a small town where faith, family and friendships have stood the test of time, and I...

The Year of Goodbyes and Hellos by Kelly Irvin Review

Happy Wednesday Bookish Lovelies :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to stop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. This past week, I've gone through some pretty hard things, but I've come out the other end of it being so grateful for all the amazing blessings I have in my life. Sometimes it's so easy to fall into the comparison trap or it's easy to spend our time focusing on all the problems rather than on all the blessings. I truly want to try and change my outlook on this, and spend more time shining a light for Jesus. I hope to get to spend time shining a light for Him on my blog, and it's definitely going to be one of my personal goals going into 2024. Now long winded intro aside, I'm looking forward to diving right into sharing another book review today with you all. I hope you'll all join me down below for today's full review.
