Defiance by C.J. Redwine

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm thrilled you're here! I've been book blogging here on The Preppy Book Princess since September of 2015, and I love getting to share all about the great and perhaps some not so great books I read on a daily basis with you all. I used to be someone who purchased a ton of books, (especially around the time I first discovered Book Outlet), and I've amassed quite a large collection over the years. In recent years, I've slowed down my book buying, and I've also grown a lot fussier about the type of content I allow myself to read. However, I still have a lot of backlist titles sitting in my home library that I hadn't ever gotten around to reading, and while I did clear out anything I thought that would be too inappropriate for me to be reading, I'm st...

The Pumpkin Head Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner and Robert Papp Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I love getting to use my little corner of the internet to share bookish content with you all. I read mainly Christian fiction, but I do read across a wide variety of other genres as well. Once in awhile, I decide to dive back into children's fiction, as I had so many favorite series within this genre growing up, and sometimes it's nice to get to revisit those. I also don't often get the opportunity to review many titles from this genre on my blog, so today I'm looking forward to getting to do that. The Boxcar Children was one of my absolute favorites from my younger years, and I love that they are continuing to add new titles within this series. When I stumbled across a fall themed title, I knew I needed to give it a try. Now I can't wait to share a quick revi...

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to take the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. How has your week been going so far? Mine's been pretty good actually, and I'm thankful for the lovely time I've been able to spend with my husband and some of the rest of my family. I'm not quite sure I've talked too much about this on my blog before, but I often feel that hospitality is one of my God given gifts, and I adore getting to entertain family and friends in our home, although we don't get as many opportunities to do so as I'd often like to. Because I do love entertaining, I also love reading cookbooks and/or entertaining and homemaking titles. I've reviewed a couple of Susan Branch's previous titles on my blog, which you can find using the links below: Autumn from the Heart of the Home Christmas from the Heart of the Home Today, I'm looki...
