Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far, and that you all are seeing amazing Spring weather, unlike us here where we're still wearing our parkas and mitts to work...brrrr lol. I will posting my March 2016 wrap up tomorrow, but I wanted to take a quick minute today to post about YASH, or the YA Scavenger Hunt. I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Weekend, and Spring Break for all my fellow Canadians out there :) I was planning on posting one more RT post before we leave in two weeks from today, but I decided to save that one for next Monday, as it will be even more exciting to write when we only have a week left! Hello all my fellow readers, Happy Good Friday :) I'm excited to have some quiet time today to reflect on what this day means to me, and I'm also looking forward to spending some quality time this weekend with my hubby, family and friends, including having one of my awesome friends color my hair for me tomorrow so it's all ready for Vegas :) . I recently spent some time on goodreads going through the list of all the YA books being released this year, and oh my goodness there's over 800 books on that list, and so many of them sound amazing! I think 2016 is definitely going to be an amazing year for YA, and I can't wait to meet a lot of these authors at the RT Convention in April. Happy Monday to all my fellow readers :) It's the start of a new week, and it's exactly three weeks from today until we leave for Vegas for RT Booklovers. I did a post a couple of weeks ago on some of the events I'm most excited to attend at the convention, but today I decided to talk about some of the authors I'm so excited to finally get a chance to meet. Hello all my fellow readers :) As always, I hope everyone's having a great week. Today I want to talk about a book I recently read that was honestly a little bit out of my usual reading comfort zone. As you can tell from the title of this post, that book was The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I am going to go ahead and say that serial killers are not my forte. I don't watch crime shows like CSI or Law and Order, and while I do love reading murder mysteries, they're definitely not typically the forensic science type at all, but this book just completely intrigued me. I really think Jennifer Lynn Barnes is such an amazing person. I always enjoy reading interviews with her and whatnot, and I've always wanted to give her books a try. While this book is definitely not a usual read for me, it just intrigued me, and I decided to go ahead and give it a try. And honestly?? I was really glad I did.
