Happy Wednesday To All My Fellow Readers :)
It's time for another Top 5 Wednesday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Lainey from gingerreadslainey on youtube, and the group communicates through goodreads. Here's the link if you're interested in becoming a part of it:

So I have a confession to make....... I almost decided not to participate in this week's topic. Why you may ask? Well, because I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to come up with five books to talk about for this particular topic. See, I have this super, annoying habit of forcing myself to finish books even when I absolutely cannot stand what I'm reading, which in the long run, I have no idea why I do because if I clearly dislike a book right from the start, all I'm really doing is wasting valuable time that I could be spending on books that I'd actually enjoy, but I digress, it's just something I seem to be in the bad habit of doing. So as such, there actually isn't that many books that I DNF. However, there are a few that I ended up doing so on, which goes to show just how much I did not like them, so I decided to go ahead and participate anyways, even if I don't have the full five books to talk about.
1) Will Grayson Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan:
This is a bit of an odd choice, as I definitely seem to be in the minority on not liking this book. Everyone else I know that's read this absolutely raved about it, but I just could not get into this book. I even tried returning to it several times, but I just couldn't do it. I didn't care for any of the main characters, or the writing style, and I honestly didn't find most of the comedic side to it that funny. I hate to feel that way about either of these authors, because they both seem like really nice people who appreciate their fans, but this book was definitely just not for me.
2) The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe:
I happened to come across this book on our online library website one day, and since I've always been fascinated by the mermaid mythology, and love reading mermaid books, I was instantly intrigued, and decided to borrow it. I was even more interested after reading the summary, and discovering that it was about three love stories in three different time periods, all connected by an object. Unfortunately I got about 80 pages into this book, and realized that I had absolutely no clue what was going on, nor did I remember what had happened on the previous 79 pages, so I ended up not finishing it. Once again, this book was just not for me.
3) Unbelievable by Sara Shepard:
Lastly, is Unbelievable by Sara Shepard. I started reading the Pretty Little Liars series because I had heard a ton of positive feedback about it. Unfortunately, I really didn't care for the writing style of this series, and I found it overall to feel a tad juvenile, in my personal opinion. While I made it through the first three books in the series, by the time I got halfway through this one, I just didn't have the urge to finish it, or continue on with this series unfortunately.
And that is actually the only three books I can think of that I did not finish. So while I wasn't able to pick five, I still wanted to participate in this week's topic. :)

Hey, I want to highfive you on Will Grayson, Will Grayson! For the longest time I felt like you (well, up until I saw your post) because I just seemed to be the only person to not have liked the book. Eventhough I finished it, I really disliked the characters and I kind of wanted to punch everyone in the face. That book made me so mad, to be honest. So you're definitely not alone :)

Lol honest to goodness your comment just made my entire weekend :) I'm so excited to have finally found someone who has the same opinion on that book, cause I was starting to think I must have read a different book from everyone else, and your thoughts on it definitely make me even happier that I decided not to finish it.
