Top 5 Wednesday: Books That Feature Time Travel,

Happy Wednesday To All My Fellow Readers :)

I'm super excited for this week's Top 5 Wednesday Topic, it's the one I'm most excited for this month:

Books That Feature Time Travel.

I absolutely love time travel books, and I've read some pretty amazing ones. It was actually hard to narrow it down to just five choices, as there's so many good ones to choose from, but here are my top 5:

1) Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier

I read this novel for the first time a couple of years ago, and I completely loved it. I loved the complicated storyline that Kerstin Gier wove effortlessly into this book, and I really enjoyed both Gwendolyn and Gideon as characters. Gwendolyn's family was also such an eccentric, but hilarious group of characters, and I loved all the mystery, and intrigue surrounding the time travel gene. I've actually really been wanting to reread this series lately, and I'm hoping I get the chance to do so soon.

2) Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs:

I was intrigued by the concept of this novel ever since I first heard it talked about on Book Tube, and I was beyond belief excited to receive it for Christmas a couple of years ago. I was expecting a really creepy, and strange story, judging by the pictures that Ransom Riggs chose to include throughout, but I ended up being surprised that it was more of an adventure story, than a thriller. However, I absolutely loved it, and I thought the time travel element to the novel was pure genius, and not something I expected when I first picked it out. I still need to read the third book in this series, Library of Souls, and since I loved the first two so much, I'm really looking forward to doing so.

3) Timeless by Alexandra Monir:

I picked this novel up during one of Book Outlet's huge sales, and all I really knew about it was that it was about time travel. I decided to start reading it one night before going to bed, and I literally came close to finishing the whole thing in one sitting. It's an amazing story, and I also really enjoyed the sequel, Timekeeper, as well.

4) Until We Meet Again by Renee Collins:

This was a fairly recent read for me, I read it in January or February, and I ended up loving it. I loved the plotline of two teenagers meeting on the same beach 90 years apart, and the added mystery element that the author brought into it. I also really enjoyed how the time travel element was explained, and the cover for the book is absolutely gorgeous, and definitely fits the story perfectly.

5) Lastly, Remembrance by Michelle Madow:

This was a random discovery for me, as the first book happened to be a free ebook, and I found the plot intriguing so I went ahead and downloaded it. I loved this entire trilogy, and how it dealt with not only time travel, but past lives, and fate and a bunch of other interesting elements. I also thought it was so awesome that Michelle Madow was inspired to write this series after she saw Taylor Swift's music video for Love Story. I highly recommend this series, as it was definitely a pleasant surprise for me.

That's my Top 5 Time Travel Picks. I hope everyone enjoyed reading this, and I look forward to reading what books everyone else chose for this week's topic.

Thanks for reading everyone! I'll see you back here on Friday for a new book review :)

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. First Line Friday: All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm excited to once again be linking up with Hoarding Books for First Line Friday. First Line Friday is one of my favorite weekly memes, and it simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. I've had a lot of extra reading time on my hands lately because of all the social distancing, and as such, I've been able to read a lot of the titles that have been sitting on my shelves for quite some time. Today's book is one of such titles, and I'm happy that I finally found the time to get to it as I'm really enjoying it so far. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant: About the Book: Kat inspected rows of the same old cupcakes. They seemed to blink back at her, as if they knew she was capable of so much more. Kat Varland has had enough of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. At twenty-six years old...
