I'm really excited for all of the March topics, as there's some really good ones this month, and that definitely includes this week's topic, "Biggest Book Hangovers."

Which simply means, the books that left you unable to think about anything else after you finished them, and that has happened numerous times to me after finishing a book, but I'm here today to share my five favorites with you all :)

1) The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin:

Without a doubt, this is the first book that came to my mind for this topic. I was so blown away by what I had just read, and of course, no one else I knew had read it, and I hadn't started my blog yet at that point, so I was going crazy not even being able to talk about this book with anyone. Thank goodness I didn't read it until the whole trilogy was already available, otherwise I can't even imagine the agony it would have been waiting the year or so between each book.

2) The Summer I Turned Pretty series by Jenny Han:
I didn't discover this amazing series by Jenny Han until after all three books were available. My husband had given me a Kobo for Christmas with a gift card to buy myself a couple of books to put on it. I had actually heard a beauty tuber from YouTube talking about this series in her birthday haul (although for the life of me I can't remember which YouTuber it was), and I was instantly intrigued by the sound of this series. I should be slightly embarrassed to admit that I read all three books in less than two days, staying up until three in the morning to finish We'll Always Have Summer,  and for days afterwards all I could think about was Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah. These books are amazing, and definitely established Jenny Han as one of my all time favorite authors.

3) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins:

I feel my Top 5 Wednesday posts are getting a little bit repetitive with me including this series every single time, but I just can't help it. I just love them that much. Finishing this series completely blew me away, and it took a long, long time after finishing it, before I was ready to come back to reality.

4) The Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi:

The Shatter Me Series was amazing, and so different from anything I'd ever read before. I absolutely loved how Juliette was such a strong female character, and also how Tahereh, in my opinion, didn't make this series predictable, it was enjoyable right through the last book, including the novellas. After finishing this series, I pretty much begged and pleaded with my book bestie to read it, so that I would have someone to fangirl over it with. It definitely left me with a huge book hangover, and I can't wait to read more from Tahereh Mafi in the future.

5) The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead:

I don't really know what I was expecting going in to reading The Vampire Academy Series, but it was definitely not what I got. This series had me glued to every page right from the first book, and it, as well as it's spin off The Bloodlines Series, remains one of my all time favorite series. Rose, Lissa, Christian, Dmitri, Adrian....I loved them all, and I highly recommend this series to anyone. After finishing it, I was so relieved to find out there was a spin off series, because it definitely left me wanting more, and to be back in the word of the Moroi and the dhampir's again. I completely love this series, and I can't wait to meet Richelle Mead at RT next month :)

So those are the books that left me with the biggest book hangovers. What books would you guys pick for this topic? I can't wait to hear!

Thanks for reading everyone. I'll see you all back here on Friday for more bookish ramblings :)

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...

First Line Friday: The Inheritance

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all had a great week and that you're staying safe no matter where you are. I haven't been leaving my house much lately other than for work, and because of this, I've had lots of reading time on my hands. Last year my hubby and I took a road trip that included a visit to our favorite bookstore, and we decided to each pick a book that wouldn't be our first choice. The purpose was to try and read something that still interested us, but would maybe be a bit different than what we would typically go for first. My pick ended up being The Inheritance by Michael Phillips, a book I actually ended up being quite excited about, despite never having heard of it prior. Unfortunately, it ended up sitting on my bookshelf ever since, and I'm so thankful I finally got the opportunity to pick it up and start reading it this past week. The Inheritance by Michael Phillips: About the Book: The death of the clan patriarch h...

Happy Friday Friends :) There's so many reasons I'm excited that it's once again Friday. I'm excited to be taking part in another edition of First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books , but I'm also excited to be featuring one of my favorite author's new releases for this week's edition. First Line Friday simply consists of sharing the first line from the book you're currently reading, and today I'm going to be sharing from Mandi Blake's new book, which released last week. Remembering the Cowboy by Mandi Blake: About the Book: They have unfinished business. She just can’t remember what it is. Camille Vanderbilt is headed back home to Wyoming with one goal: find her old best friend and give him a piece of her mind for ghosting her six years ago. She won’t let anyone stand in her way… until a deer runs into the road and causes her to wreck and forget almost everything. Noah Harding lives a simple life as a firefighter and rancher until Camille cras...
