Disney Vacation Memories

It's officially October 17th, and it's crazy to think that it's been almost a whole month since we flew home from our wonderful Disney World Vacation. :)

I've yet to truly share too much about our trip with all you guys, other than posting my haul of all the goodies that came home with us, and I thought today would be an awesome day to share some of our favorite Disney photopass pictures, and the corresponding memories associated with them.

This particular photo reminds me of what a great first day we had in the parks. We were originally only supposed to have eight day park tickets, but we discovered it was actually way cheaper to fly in one day earlier, and so we actually got a bonus day in the parks, which we spent at Epcot and The Magic Kingdom. This was the first photopass picture we took this trip, and I love how excited we both look for the awesome nine days ahead of us.

Dinner at Be Our Guest was a highlight again this trip. We tried breakfast as well for the first time on this trip, and unfortunately, it ended up being one of our least favorites of the whole trip, but dinner was fabulous, and meeting the Beast is always an added bonus.

I love that Hollywood Studios has added this adorable meet and greet with Olaf. This was a first for us, and I loved every minute of it, as the summer set up they had was adorable, and Hollywood Studios is always one of our very favorite parks.

I have yet to see Zootopia, but this bonus shot that showed up in our Disney Experience app was adorable, and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you guys. I know a lot of people were really upset about the removal of the Studios Hat, and I have to say I expected myself to be as well, but I really love how the influence is now placed on the theater, since The Great Movie Ride continues to be one of my all time favorites.

We were blessed to get to do Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party twice this year, and we made it a goal to get a bunch of the party specific magic shots. I absolutely loved this one with The Headless Horseman, and I was so happy we were able to get it.

I always love the topiaries at Disney, and this particular one at Hollywood Studios is always one of my favorites. Plus I love this dress from Old Navy that I picked up back in the spring for our Vegas trip!

We finally got a chance to see Festival of The Lion King again this trip, as we hadn't seen it in a few years, and it was just as amazing as I remember. I also love how this picture shows our awesome New Balance runDisney shoes. :)

This is probably one of my favorite photopass pictures from our whole trip. We were the only people at this particular photostop at the time, so the photographer spent lots of time taking various shots with us, and I seriously love how they turned out. I'm debating using this one as one of our Christmas card photos this year.

You can never have too many castle shots! Even when, unfortunately, that horrible crane is over the castle.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I was so excited that they now have meet and greets with some of the Star Wars characters at Hollywood Studios. I love this picture!

Lastly, I want to share the elusive candy apple magic shot that we were finally able to get at our second Halloween party. Neil literally asked every photopass photographer we saw if they were able to do this particular shot, and we finally found success before the parade. SOooo happy we got this shot!

And those are my favorites of the photopass pictures we got this year guys. Thanks for letting me share some of my favorite vacation memories with you all, although I do still hope to share a few of our favorite personal photos from our vacation in the future as well.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope your week is off to a great start!

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...

First Line Friday: The Joy of Falling

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you've had time to curl up with some great books. This week, Lindsay Harrel's newest book released, and I loved it when I had the chance to read and review it. I'm excited to feature it for this week's First Line Friday post which is hosted by the lovely ladies over at Hoarding Books. Both women are trying to navigate their way through the grief, but neither one is making much progress. Angela is barely making ends meet, angry at her husband for leaving her to raise three children on her own. Meanwhile, Eva is stuck, unable to move forward after losing the love of her life and her source of inspiration. But then Eva gets a life-changing phone call. Befor...
