First Line Friday: Sweet on You

Happy Friday Everyone :)

 I missed participating in First Line Friday last week, as I had a family emergency come up last weekend.

 Thankfully everything worked out okay, and I'm thankful as always to our amazing Heavenly Father for always being there, and for the grace He extends to all of us on a daily basis.

 This week on my blog has been all about Becky Wade's newest release, Sweet On You, so I knew for this week's First Line Friday I had to share the first line from this one.

About The Book:
Britt and Zander have been best friends since they met thirteen years ago, but unbeknownst to Britt, Zander has been in love with her for just as long. When Zander's uncle dies of mysterious causes, he returns to Washington to investigate. As they work together to uncover his uncles tangled past, will the truth of what lies between them also come to light?

 My Thoughts:

 I have yet to not love anything Becky Wade has written, and Sweet On You is no exception. Britt and Zander's story is a whirlwind from start to finish, and I adored every second of it. It's the perfect amount of romance, comedic interludes, epistolary inclusions, and suspense elements. I highly recommend checking this one out as soon as you possibly can. It gets a perfect five star rating from me.

 First Line:

 "Five hundred and eleven days had passed since he'd seen her last."

      I've never actually heard of Victoria Bylin, but I looove this first line! What a great start to a story!

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all had a great week and that you're staying safe no matter where you are. I haven't been leaving my house much lately other than for work, and because of this, I've had lots of reading time on my hands.
