My Review:

Jill Lynn is my all time favorite Love Inspired author, and I always look forward to reading her new books. I was especially excited to read this one when I discovered that it's another installment in her Colorado Grooms series.

Her Hidden Hope is another prime example of how Jill Lynn is able to write flawed characters that need Jesus so authentically and effortlessly, and I found myself completely wrapped up in this story. As it focuses around grief, healing and the fallout that can happen when the truth is withheld, the message comes wholeheartedly across that each of us need Jesus to truly ever have hope.

I have a hard time putting down any book by this author that I pick up, and this one was no exception. Jill Lynn's stories only get better and better over time, and readers everywhere are going to love this one. Evan is exactly the kind of book hero I love reading about it. He's flawed, he's humble, and he's determined to make a difference in any small way that he can. I loved his relationship with his service dog Belay, and the relationship he quickly develops with Addie's toddler son, Sawyer. The reader can easily see how big of a heart Evan truly has, and I truly adored reading his story.

However, I have to be honest and say that I never really came to care for Addie's character throughout the story. I struggled to sympathize with the decisions she ended up making, and I felt that if given the opportunity to do so, she probably would have continued to make the same choices. I really did love this story overall, I just didn't end up caring for Addie as much as I did for Evan, or the previous characters in this series.

All in all though, Jill Lynn has written another new favorite for me, and I can't wait to read more from this author in the future. I'm seriously hoping that she's going to give us Charlie's story soon, as my heartstrings have already been pulled by her character, and I can't wait to (hopefully) read more about her soon.

Jill Lynn continues to be my all time favorite Love Inspired author, and I highly suggest you go and pick up one of her titles immediately if you have yet to do so as I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Final Rating: 4/5

Thanks so much to Jill Lynn for allowing me to advance read this as part of her street team!

I received a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel to voluntarily read and review from the author as part of her street team. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
