Enchanting the Heiress by Kristi Ann Hunter Review

Hello Friends :)

I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.

Are you someone who sticks to only reading certain genres? Or are you the type of reader that reads across a great many different genres.

Without a doubt, I'm definitely the latter. I love contemporaries, cozy mysteries, historical fiction, middle grade, young adult, dual timelines, etc, etc. And my all time favorite is reading any of these sub genres that are under the Christian fiction heading.

A beloved author within the Christian historical fiction market is Kristi Ann Hunter, but surprisingly, until 2020, I'd actually never read any of her books before.

Her recent trilogy, Hearts of the Hearth, is my first experience with her stories, and I've enjoyed my first foray into her beloved books.

I've previously shared my reviews of the first two books in the series here on my blog, and you can check out those reviews using the links below:

Keep reading on below for today's full review of the third and final title in this wonderful historical fiction series.

Enchanting the Heiress by Kristi Ann Hunter:

Source: Library

Publisher: Bethany House

Publication Date: March 1st, 2022

Genre: Christian Fiction/Historical Fiction

Series: Hearts on the Hearth

Synopsis:

Harriet Hancock likes to make the lives of those around her better whether they like it or not. So, she is surprised when her friend Sophia Whitworth has ideas of her own on how to make Harriet happier--by throwing her together with Sophia's brother, stable hand Jonas Fitzroy. When Harriet discovers his natural way with words, she hatches a plan that would benefit them both.

Holding a grudge against Harriet for her meddling in Sophia's life, it is only because of his sister that Jonas agrees to approach Harriet about a possible artistic project. What he doesn't expect is for her to request his help writing a book.

As they work together, they start to see each other in a different light, but when the truth of Harriet's schemes is revealed, she'll find her good intentions for once have gone too far.

My Review:

Enchanting the Heiress is the wonderful conclusion to Kristi Ann Hunter's beloved Hearts on the Heart trilogy, and it was everything I was hoping for and more. I seem to be in the minority with feeling so based on the other reviews I've been seeing, but this one was by far my absolute favorite of the entire series.

Harriet and Jonas were both characters that had many faults they had to overcome on their quest to find out what they wanted to do with their lives, but I felt that this only made them that much more relatable. At the end of the day, they both had such big hearts and a desire to help those they cared for, but were both going about doing so in the wrong way.

I've enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie that's existed between the characters in this series from day one, and this book really brought that bond full circle. Obviously, Harriet and Jones' relationship wasn't expected by anyone around them, and the fact that this one dived into the topic of trying to make a relationship work with someone outside of your own social status made it that much more original of a story.

Kristi Ann Hunter is a talented storyteller, and I appreciate that she writes beautiful romances that keep the faith element at the front and center. I'm never bored when I pick up one of her titles, and Enchanting the Heiress was no exception.

Final Rating: 4/5.

I couldn't have enjoyed this one more, and I thought it was the perfect conclusion to this favorite series.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)
