I'm Kirby, and I'm so happy you're here. At the start of 2024, I made a kind of bucket list for the year if you will. I included 29 things that I wanted to complete during the year, and I didn't really talk about it here on my blog. Primarily this was because a lot of it was personal, and weren't things I was comfortable sharing publicly, but one of the things on the list was to read two new to me classic novels. I adore the classics, but lately I seem to just be rereading favorites instead of giving new ones a try. Young Adult Fiction used to be one of my all time favorite genres, and yet lately, I've found this genre to be pretty hit or miss for me personally. I used to read a lot of young adult fiction. It was my favorite genre, and I read hundreds and hundreds of titles within this genre. Now I probably only read a few in the course of an entire year, and that's mainly because the content in these books now is absolutely atrocious!  One author who, except for one or two exceptions, continues to keep her books fairly clean is Kasie West.
