 Happy Monday Sweet Friends :)

I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review.

Today's post is a particular fun one for me to share with you all today as the author kept this book release entirely secret until release day which is today!

I know you guys are all going to love this heartwarming Christian romance title, and I can't wait to tell you all about it.

However, if you'd first like to check out my review of the previous title in the series, you can do so using the link below:

Source: Complimentary Copy Provided by the Author as Part of Her Street Team

Publisher: Silver Fountain Press

Publication Date: April 14th, 2025

Genre: Christian Fiction/Contemporary

Series: Second Chance Fire Station

Synopsis:

I never expected to see him again.

When I met Evan, he was everything I never thought I could have—steady, kind, the kind of man who made me believe in something more. But one reckless night changed everything. By the time I found out I was pregnant, he was gone, and I had every reason to believe he’d never come back.

For fourteen years, I built a life for my daughter, protecting her, providing for her, never letting myself wonder what if.
Evan was a stranger from my past, a man whose wealthy family could take everything from me if they ever found out. But then he showed up in my small town—stronger, haunted, and completely unaware of the little girl who carried his eyes. And the moment he looks at her, I know the truth will come out.

I wanted to keep my distance. I told myself he only cared because of Sophia, that he’d never really wanted me. But every look, every touch, every moment together makes it harder to deny the truth.

Because Evan Mercer wasn’t just the man I lost. He was The One Who Changed Everything.

The One Who Changed Everything is the final standalone book in the inspirational Second Chance Fire Station series. Dive into this heartwarming second chance romance today!

My Review:

I've been eagerly anticipating getting the chance to read The One Who Changed Everything ever since finishing, The One Who Risked It All. The teaser cliffhanger that introduced Evan and Samantha's story had me hooked, and let me tell you this beautiful story did not disappoint.

Evan and Samantha's story is a second chance romance, and it was everything I could have hoped for. A beautiful send off to the Second Chance Fire Station series, this wonderful clean romance has so much heart, and so many swoon worthy moments it would honestly be hard to pick a favorite.

Samantha never thought she'd see Evan again. When she discovers she's pregnant, she's determined to give her daughter a better life than the one she had growing up, and is even more determined to make it on her own. When Evan shows up in her small town, she can't believe what she's seeing-after all she's finally built a stable and secure life for her and her daughter, and now the one person has appeared who has the potential to send it all crumbling away. Evan can't believe he's finally found Samantha after all these years, but he's not sure he's prepared to handle the secret she's been keeping from him all along. Can these two ever find their way to happily ever after when so much is stacked against them?

I'm still relatively new to Tara Grace Ericson's stories, but I truly love her writing style and definitely now count her as one of my favorites. I love how much heart she puts into each of her stories, and I love how the faith element is always so effortlessly and authentically woven throughout each one. Evan and Samantha's story was one that I had a hard time wanting to put down, and I loved how much maturity and growth they both portray over the course of the story.

I had a feeling I was going to enjoy this one, but it even surprised me just how much I did so. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year, and one that I will be definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys clean romances and/or faith based romances.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much to Tara Grace Ericson for allowing me to read and review this title!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the author as part of her street team. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own, and this is my honest review.

Thanks so much for reading guys! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day :)

A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
