Top 5 Wednesday: Biggest Book Hangovers

Happy Wednesday To All My Fellow Readers :) Of course since it is Wednesday, it is time again for a Top 5 Wednesday Post. If you're interested in becoming part of Top 5 Wednesday, or just learning more about it, here is the link to the goodreads group: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/118368-top-5-Wednesday I'm really excited for all of the March topics, as there's some really good ones this month, and that definitely includes this week's topic, "Biggest Book Hangovers." Which simply means, the books that left you unable to think about anything else after you finished them, and that has happened numerous times to me after finishing a book, but I'm here today to share my five favorites with you all :) 1) The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin: Without a doubt, this is the first book that came to my mind for this topic. I was so blown away by what I had just read, and of course, no one else I knew had read it, and I had...

Top 16 Most Anticipated Books of 2016

Hello everybody, I'm a little late getting to this post, but I still wanted to go ahead and do it anyways :) I'm here today to talk about my 16 most anticipated books of 2016! While there were quite a few books I was really excited for that released last month, or earlier this month (like The Siren by Kiera Cass and Stars Above by Marissa Meyer), I'm not going to include them on this list, since it is a list of most anticipated books, and those ones have already been released. Here is my 16 picks, not in any particular order. 1) A Court Of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas: I absolutely loved A Court Of Thorns and Roses, and I can't wait to go ahead and read this one as well. 2) Heartless by Marissa Meyer: It's no secret that The Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite book series of all time, so I fangirled pretty hard when I found out that Marissa Meyer has a new series coming out centered around Alice in Wonderland. I can't wait to read t...

Bookshelf Reorganization

Hey everyone :) Follow my blog with Bloglovin I'm here today to do a post that's a bit different from my usual reviews. Recently I decided it was finally time to go ahead and reorganize my bookshelves. All the books that my hubby and I received for Christmas, birthdays, and bought on Boxing Day have all still been in piles on our desk, and I finally decided it was time to go ahead and do something about that. So yeah this was the state of my living room for a good few hours after I'd pulled all the books off the shelf, and started trying to categorize into piles. I don't think we ever realize how many books we actually own, until it's time to reorganize them all on the shelves. This was what my shelves looked like all empty and waiting for the books to be placed upon them :) And after seven hours of sorting, reorganizing, arr...

Top 5 Wednesday: Worst Love Interests

Hello All My Fellow Readers :) Today is Wednesday, and that means of course that it's time for a Top 5 Wednesday post. If you're interested in learning more about Top 5 Wednesday, here is the link to the goodreads group: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/118368-top-5-Wednesday Today's topic is "Worst Love Interests." This is my first negative Top 5 Wednesday post, and I'm excited to jump right in, and share my picks with all of you. One thing I will say before I start however, is that a lot of the love interests I've chosen may result in a minor spoiler for some people who haven't read the earlier books in some of the series I've chosen. As I hate spoilers, I also hate spoiling anything for anyone else, so it might be in your best interest not to read this post if you haven't read these particular books :) 1) Theo from The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen: Sarah Dessen is one of my all time favorite authors. I first fell in love ...

New Author Obsession: Emery Lord

Hello All My Fellow Readers :) As some of you may remember, one of my reading goals for 2016 was to discover some new authors that I had never read before, and I'm here today to discuss one of such authors. I have recently read two books by Emery Lord, Open Road Summer , and The Start of Me and You, and I can honestly say that I fell head over heels in love with both of them, and I can't wait to read more from Emery Lord in the future. Here's the goodreads synopsis for these two books if you're not familiar with them: Open Road Summer: "After breaking up with her bad-news boyfriend, Reagan O’Neill is ready to leave her rebellious ways behind. . . and her best friend, country superstar Lilah Montgomery, is nursing a broken heart of her own. Fortunately, Lilah’s 24-city tour is about to kick off, offering a perfect opportunity for a girls-only summer of break-up ballads and healing hearts. But when Matt Finch joins the tour as its opening act, h...

Top 5 Wednesday: Best Suggested Books You Loved (Books Recommended To You)

Happy Wednesday to all my fellow readers :) Since it is Wednesday, it is time for another "Top 5 Wednesday Post." Here is the link to the goodreads Top 5 Wednesday group for anyone wanting to know more about it: *** https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/118368-top-5-Wednesday I'm really excited for this week's topic because it is "Best Suggested Books You Loved (Books Recommend To You). I absolutely love when friends or family recommend books that I end up loving, and I'm excited to share my five favorites with you all this week. 1) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: These books were recommended to me by a co-worker. She had told me just how amazing they were, and my brothers and I ended up going with her and her daughters to see the movie. After watching the movie, I became completely obsessed with this story, and ran out and bought the books. I finished them over the course of one weekend, and I remember that I had my final university exam d...

I'm going to a book convention!!!!!!!

Hey everybody! I hope you're all having a fabulous week. I'm here today to share some very exciting news with everyone. I've been hinting for awhile that my hubby and I are going away in the spring, and that I've been on a self imposed book buying ban because of something coming up that I'm going to be buying lots of books at, and now it is finally time for me to reveal on my blog what I've been hinting at. I AM GOING TO A BOOK CONVENTION!!!! I have never been to a book convention before. never. ever. ever. I've always enjoyed watching others Booktube vlogs about going to them, and reading blog posts about them, and I've even gone so far as to price out going to them before, but something always came up (usually my hubby's work schedule), that just made it impossible for us to be able to attend one. We don't live anywhere near where any of these conventions are usually held, especially since we live nowhere near Chicago or New York, but I...
